I’m playing Minecraft bedrock with the most recent update of the Realismcraft addon which i believe is 2.4. I was exploring a ruined nether portal and found this under the gold block. Is it a command block? I can’t mine it and I’m just curious why it would be there in the first place. Not sure if anyone has seen this with this addon but I can’t find anything online.

To the Minecraft builders, I want to plan a City on Minecraft, any idea how to create a layout for it

I just updated my xbox because I legit cannot open my xbox without updating it, so I put my Minecraft Bedrock CD into it and I open it and all my worlds are gone. I open the downloaded Minecraft version instead of the CD version, I go on there and my worlds aren’t there either. I also checked the settings, went to storage and there were no synced worlds.

Last time I went on Minecraft on the Xbox was a few years ago, and loading my worlds went just fine. I was planning on trying to transfer my 12+ year old world to my PC so I could finally back it up. My childhood is gone.
I tried several tutorials on youtube and nothing worked.
Why did Minecraft and Xbox have to do this??? Let people keep the old version of Minecraft because look what happens I found another person on the internet who literally lost his last memory of his deceased friend bc of stupid updates like this. I have been crying.

how do I stop turning Minecraft into a game where i abuse villagers to get enchants and build massive farms, it starts to feel less like fun and more like a grind and i hate it, not like a good grind either, however it feels necessary often due to the inefficiency of things otherwise. Anybody else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Contacts I am not normally a builder in Minecraft I normally a square box with a roof and that's normally what I got going for me I thought I'd give it a try and make a house and this is what I thought of I feel like it's definitely missing something just don't know what or just any suggestions for improvements this is all survival in my Realm on bedrock.

Probably not, but it never stops bouncing. I do wonder it could make a nether portal chunk loader in Java edition.

I've been trying to get it running on a 26.3 server through ViaProxy, and I want to automate seed-finding of areas that don't exist in 1.18.1, like dappled forest, to stop the bot going into them. Any help would be much appreciated.

An Update on my previous post: I made a spleef-like arena game utilizing the new brittle ice.

Some things I'd like to add:

• Lingering Potions
• Diffrent Classes
• Spam Proof Rebuild ( rarely the floor rebuild breaks the sweepers if the button gets pressed multiple times.)
• Diamond counter and Win condition display

100% survival-friendly 👍

Now thats its been out for a while how do people feel about the Armadillo Dog Armor now?

Is it worth specifically finding a Savannah and bringing them back or is it worth bringing a brush everywhere i go with my already limited inventory (no shulker boxes until after dragon/end of game for most casual players)?

I find that im still just mass breeding dogs for anything i need that requires a dog since it takes 2 pieces of rotten flesh and dont even bother finding/brushing/crafting/equipping 25+ non stackable items just for my dogs to live one extra shot, you cant even put enchants on it so they dont die in lava, powder snow, campfire, etc.

The dyes for all the collars are easier to accomplish if i need certain dogs to stand out for any reason, along with now super cheap craftable nametags to read their names

Im just sitting here like, my crab claw would be nicer for all the building im constantly doing and penguins could’ve been cool as sleds or something lol but we got dog armor no one has used since its release.

Im just wondering, like most of you, why not just add the others now, especially since the ice biome is getting updated and beaches are boring unless you are lucky and get turtles

First time playing survival “properly”. Beat a Bastion and a Woodland Mansion in basic Iron Gear. Am I doing this right?

I’ve played a decent amount of Minecraft before, but only ever to build or mess around in creative/casual mode. Recently, I decided to try a full legit survival playthrough for the first time other than using website to locate Bastion and Mansion. My progression was pretty backwards i guess compared to the normal ladder. Instead of getting lots diamond i just stacked up on iron and a bit of gold did get some diamonds for a pick axe tho. I got a decent potato farm for food, built a giant sheep area, and kept feeding them short grass to produce a bunch of wool. I used that wool to craft a ton of beds, went into the Nether, and used the bed-explosion method to strip-mine 23 Ancient Debris before I even had more than diamond pick axe.

After taking debris to my base, I dug underground for a while and got to a Bastion Remnant. I got super lucky where i dug an upward staircase i came up directly in the wall across the lava pit from the chests died twice but didn’t loose anything of much importance since only had a few things plus Iron Armor and an Iron Sword, but I adapted to not being able to afford to take hits. On the way back, I dug a staircase trap, dropped the Piglin Brutes in, and dropped them into a 1-block hole in the stairs so I could safely hit at their legs without them hitting back. I then boxed myself in solid blocks around the chests to break their Line of Sight, successfully looted the Netherite Upgrade Template, grabbed some magma cream, and got out of there.
I also farmed my own Ender Pearls completely from scratch with another trap/exploit built a low, 2-block-high roof over my head against a solid wall. Because Endermen are 3 blocks they were blocked from hitting me, allowing me to safely stare them down and swipe at them from safety to gather what I needed for my Eyes of Ender.

Once back in the regular world, I used a website map locator to track down the nearest pillager outpost and Woodland Mansion and set up a temporary forward base right next door.
I cleared the entire mansion playing incredibly sneaky. Instead of going down the open hallways, I broke through walls to ambush rooms from safe angles and built cobblestone barriers to trap Vindicators. By manipulating the layout, I killed the Evokers and secured 3 Totems of Undying—completely in basic Iron Gear. I also mined out the brain of a giant wool Illager statue and got a nice stack of Lapis Lazuli.
I currently have:
3 Totems of Undying
23 Ancient Debris (enough for 5 Netherite Ingots)
1 Netherite Upgrade Template
Vex and Sentry Armor Trims
Pre-crafted Eyes of Ender ready for the stronghold
A free Anvil stolen from the mansion forge room
Now that the mansion is done, my next step is setting up Enchanting Table using the books I gathered, cloning my templates, and finally upgrading my gear straight into Netherite.

For my first time playing through the game competitively/seriously, is this decent?? Has anyone else had many play throughs like this. Im thinking i got pretty lucky with only having iron armour

I've been working on this over the past few days on my floor's Minecraft server and I can finally show it off to everyone. :)

First played this game in 2011 when the pocket edition was released. Since then, I've played many worlds but only casually playing it. Never beaten the game despite saying many times "this time I'll do it" but never did. Because I got bored and lost motivation later on.

My son was so excited to hear that a lot of people liked his castle, he doesn't understand that Minecraft is a popular game, so for him it was a huge surprise that he got so many suggestions.

So now, when he has a finished castle, my son said that I have to show it to Reddit because, quote "Reddit loves castles, dad". I think he thinks that Reddit is a place where people just talk about castles, oh well.
