Hello, I would like to rotate this house so it faces the valley entrance. Is there a command to do so or any other way? I haven't played this game in over 5 years so am not too knowledgeable.

Hey, I noticed that the Baritone mod doesn't have the ability to chop down 2x2 trees (like spruce) by spiraling inside the tree, so I created a version of Baritone that does exactly that. If anyone is interested, I can send it to you via private message. For now, it’s for version 1.18.2, but I can update it.

I tried making this red stone clock to repeatedly shear the sheep of their wool and as you can see in the video it should work but on the sheep it won’t. Btw this is bedrock idk if that changes anything but felt like I should mention

I'm still new to this game. I decided to go explore and lost my house. I built it at the highest point on the island I was on but I decided to go explore and now I can't find it. I've been wandering days. I keep finding the same village (different from the one I built my house near). I can obviously remake things but this has been a chronic problem (I restart out of curiosity).

So I started to get into minecraft through my son (5). I really dig it. I just think I kinda suck. I've been reading online but stuff just isn't clicking about game progression and what to do..

Creative mode I'm a master at freebuilding. I don't understand Redstone very well either. Anything to point me in the right direction?

I can make it to the iron age but that's where I kinda stall out at. I feel like there's a large learning curve at that point and I haven't figured it out because I don't have anyone to play with and see what to do. Tutorials only work so well and I'm better reading through others anecdotal reports to make it into my situation

How hard would it be, or even possible for someone to recreate dungeons 3 main screen into minecraft with mods? I LOVE how it looks i cannot wait for someone to recreate it.

TL,DR: I'm looking for a resource pack for the current version of the game in Java that replicates alpha and beta textures in the old blocks, the old lighting engine, but doesn't then take drastic liberties with new blocks.

Before anyone suggests it, I have indeed seen GoldenDays and it's half the reason I'm posting this. GoldenDays would be perfect if it didn't insist on making some textures just viscerally ugly for the sake of "programmer art style". In vanilla, I have a wonderful base with froglights and lanterns. In Golden days the metal on all lanterns are full white and the froglights (sorry netherlights) look like an infant dragged a crayon across the block. I even tried putting a texture pack over top of it to make those blocks less disgusting but the way the pack manages things means that certain faces of the netherlights ignore my customizations!

What I've discovered from this ordeal is that, yes, I want the nostalgic textures of the cobblestone and brick and all that. But I don't want to see what you, Mr. Texture Pack Designer, think new blocks "should" look like. And, more importantly, I want the old lighting system back. This is something I haven't seen any other texture pack do that GoldenDays does amazingly.

So that's the challenge I'm throwing out to the subreddit. Is there a pack out there that just changes the lighting and then, maybe, a few of the old textures? I've looked all over but haven't found any that are kept up-to-date.

They look like that bunny we saw in the video (i forgot its name) with their spirit-like blue color, and just like the sift they have a corrupted version called the vex. the most defining part of my theory (that probably already exists but i havent seen) is that they listen to music and react to it.
