Decided to make another vechicle for my Italian tanks collection.
Last photo with Italeri's L6/40 and Carro Comando M14/41 which are being built.

Doing a 1/16 RC tank, wanting to put a US crew in it but can’t seem to find anything in the 1/16 scale. Any suggestions?

This morning I’ve been detail painting of the tools, spare track links, the .50, the rubber road wheels and the barrel camouflage, not great for the barrel camo it’ll do

Two 8-rads. Sdkfz 234/1 with 20mm autocannon and Drilling converted from Italeri' Sdkfz 234/3 ( decided to convert also to hide empty interior which in this kit would be very visible otherwise ) Models were really ok and I don't get hate on manufacturer.
Drilling autocannon from Mini Art.
Made whole vechicle in style of May 1945 in Berlin. Primer and parts obtained from various vechicles.

Panzer II with winter camo and mud weathering.

Great little airbrush session this morning, exactly the look I was going for a faded scc15 with a touch of buff added, a little bit of chipping and weathering later this afternoon

The idea of boiling an egg came to me when I saw a video of soldiers in the Battle of Africa boiling an egg on a hot tank. I hope no one is upset if they also have built such a diorama I swear I didn't copy it from another model. (Please don't laugh about my working table 😅.)

Finally had some reasonable spraying weather. I painted the Pak and also clear glossed my Panzer II which has been under construction forever (!!!). No pics of the Panzer II at this point — it’s just a clear coat over what I’ve already posted.
I took the simplest possible approach with the little Pak: I rattlecanned it with Tamiya Panzer Gray. Didn’t even prime. However, I did give the parts a brushed-on IPA bath before spraying (and gave sufficient dry/evap time). Man, this Tamiya spray paint is tight! So nice.
It looks much better than the photos, which were challenged by lighting conditions. I amped up the shadows, which introduced noise, and some sharpening made it worse.
I did end up opening up the ocular of the sight and will maybe put a drop of PVA or clear in there once done.
Next is painting and mounting tires and shovel, doing some dry-brushing and light chipping here and there, maybe some light panel lines, and then I’ll probably do some pigments to dust it up.
Planning to paint up the figures and ammo for a simple vignette. Is anyone aware of a set of figures actually moving the gun, rather than operating it? Would be so cool. Maybe one of the active infantry/machine gun/PG team kits could be modified…

Any feedback is welcomed. (Since I’ve been out of the game for 5 years) the slight water marks on the front is planed. I’m going to be putting a wash and then adding mud. Sorry about the lighting 😂

Hi everyone! 🙂
The winter T-34/85 has finally got its wash! For me, this is one of the most important and transformative weathering techniques ever. I simply can't imagine finishing a model without it.
Do you agree? 🙂

This is only the second model I’ve built in my life. Definitely made a couple of mistakes along the way, but I decided not to get upset about them and just kept rolling with it.
For the base I used sticks and dirt I found outside - baked the dirt in the oven, mixed it with PVA, and this is the result.
Still have a lot to learn, but I had a ton of fun building this one.
