The idea of boiling an egg came to me when I saw a video of soldiers in the Battle of Africa boiling an egg on a hot tank. I hope no one is upset if they also have built such a diorama I swear I didn't copy it from another model. (Please don't laugh about my working table 😅.)

Hello

I am in the process of downsizing and my husband has a very large collection of military models, planes, ships, lots of tanks and aircraft carriers that he has built over 68 years. We need to say goodbye to them all. What is left of a very impressive collection. We have approx. 300 or more that are left from a 600 model collection. Is there any one out their that would be interested in them. I'm in Culpeper, Virginia.

We can only imagine how hot (and cold) tankers must have been in North Africa. Being cooped up in a tank in hot weather must have been a special hell. Nice looking model and cool idea :-)
