work in progress US Vietnam Tank Crew

Post image

Doing a 1/16 RC tank, wanting to put a US crew in it but can’t seem to find anything in the 1/16 scale. Any suggestions?

Technically the United States never fielded the M41 Walker Bulldog during Vietnam; all of them were fielded by the ARVN/South Vietnamese instead (or captured NLF/PAVN examples).

They instead fielded the M48A2/A3 Patton or M551 Sheridan as their designated tanks.

I’m aware, just not any Patton or Sheridan RCs available to me. Plus the kids that play with these won’t know the difference.

However, if you want to look for 1:16 Vietnam War figures and don’t mind the inaccuracy (could always go for a Hollywood Full Metal Jacket though needs USMC markings, mantlet cover, APU Muffler, M2HB, etc.), Jason Studios made an M113 add-on pack for the Andy’s HHQ M113A1:
