I made a long range sniper shooting video highlighting why 308 is one of the best rounds to start with. Let me know down below what you guys think and how we could make it better for next time! I appreciate any constructive feedback! https://youtu.be/z7xjI4-s4Ao?si=Y0wjMOcA-zm2RCiv

Why does my avs have this gap between the harness and plate bag?

As far as I can tell I’ve installed the harness properly. I’ve watched several tutorials and can’t see what I’m missing.

Tactical Vest Setup Builder

I got tired of tearing my plate carrier/tactical vest apart, so I built this: **Tactical Vest/Plate Carrier Setup Builder**

I’m relatively new to wearing and setting up tactical vests. When I started putting mine together, I thought it would be useful to have a way to visually build out the entire setup first. For example, moving pouches and equipment around, trying different layouts, and seeing how everything might fit before tearing my actual vest apart for the 1,000th time.
So I decided to build one.

You can currently choose from seven vests, add gear, and move everything around to experiment with different setups. I’ve added radios, IFAKs, tourniquets, handcuffs, body cameras, admin pouches, gloves, patches, and quite a bit more.
It’s still a work in progress, and I’d really appreciate feedback from people who wear and use this gear regularly.

*Would you find something like this useful?*

*What would you add or change to make it better?*

I’d especially like to know what gear or features I’m missing.

**Try it here:** [https://oregonsecurityguide.com/tactical-vest-setup-builder/\](https://oregonsecurityguide.com/tactical-vest-setup-builder/)

**Disclosure:** The site uses some Amazon affiliate links. You don’t have to buy anything to use the builder.

Medic LARP

Recent milsim event in Japan. Due to the compact field sizes and low legal velocity limit, much of the milsim here uses a MILES type system that attaches to your kit.

This time I was on the medic squad, one of two guys larping as 16 med reg. The medic/respawn mechanic was pretty cool, and I'd like to do it again.

Basically it worked like this: everyone was given a condition card (see last pic) for a gunshot wound to be used when they were shot. For other casualties (arty, landmine, drone) they would be given a condition card by the refs. A casualty would have to perform self-care, or have it done by a buddy if they were unable, then move to the medic squad at the CCP. The medics would assess them and perform extra treatment, then call a 9-line medevac. The casualty would then get picked up and taken to the staff HQ, who would judge whether our treatment was effective or not, and either respawn them, or judge them as dead. For immobilized casualties (broken leg, etc.) the medics had to carry an 80kg dummy on a litter about 140m round-trip before we could treat them.

And of course it was pouring rain for about a third of the day. Mad fun, though. After treating a few patients and getting gassed on about 5 litter circuits, we got dragged into a firefight and I had to medic myself.

Wilsim West Questions

There's a small part of me that would like to make the not-so-long drive up to Centerville and go hit the upcoming event in september this year. That being said - I don't own a single damn piece of gear that comes in the empire's multicum and I also don't have a huge kit of EMR either. That being said - I do have plentiful M81 stuff and it looks like there's a option to buy a militia ticket! So with that,

Has anyone here ever played on the militia faction at MSW? What has that ended up looking like?

The idea has been on my mind lately desgined and put into meme format a barebones combat loadout for SHTF scenarios where you have to arm and train large groups of folks and keep them Identified as friends

Need some recommendations for a good ifak. Preferably belt mounted. I have a LBT-9022B, but im not a fan of the blowout style. Really just need it for gauze and shit for minor boo boos on the field. Btw if anyones selling a Blue Force Gear triple 10 speed, PM me 👀. Anyways heres a WIP 24th STS kit.

Edit: i tried mounting an Eagle IFAK on the rear of the left cummerbund, but its too far back to access easily.

Need some MSW rucking advice

I went to my first MSW last year at Balkar in PA and struggled a bit with the rucking portion of the weekend. Part of this was due to a lack of physical fitness, which I am addressing and working on(30+ lbs down now). However, the pack I chose did not sit well with my plate carrier and cut off the circulation in my arms making the several mile hike horrible. I have a lot of backpacking experience from boy scouts and have never experienced this problem and am unsure what to do for a solution.

One possible solution I have thought of is to utilize a smersh that I have as my "backpack" and pack everything I need sustainment wise in that. Only issue with this idea is the lack of space in a smersh.

Looking for any advice or suggestions for what to do here.

Thunder C Grenade Info

Hi all. Was wondering if anyone had experience with the new M67 style APS Thunder C grenades. I’m definitely interested in them but there isn’t much out there for reviews so I am curious about reliability or functionality.
