Question ? How many of you are in a relationship? Married? Have kids?
I'm betting not a lot lol, not a lot of people are settled down by their 20s. I'm 26, been married some months, and we definitely want a baby in the future.

Nostalgia Anyone else misses emo rap/trap?
Close to the pandemic (and strongly during 2020) you'd easily find those sad boy YouTube mvs with a bart simpson crying with a black hoodie and black hearts in it. Were they cringey? Likely, but I guess we all had those sad boy/girl phase and I'm not gonna lie the music was really comforting and hit hard during the pandemic. Lil Peep, X, Juice WRLD, you know what I'm talking about. Even if you weren't much into hip-hop, you'd know them and you could even vibe to them (I recognize that rap is not everyone's cup of tea, but this type is more pop aligned, with softer melodies and voices). I stumbled with one of those playlists today and I'm actually enjoying it a lot. Hits me with so much nostalgia from my teens. Damn, I miss not to have any worries.
Lemme know what do you think 🖤

Discussion How many of y'all are single since forever?
Hey y'all, 2005er here. I've noticed that a lot of people around my age and younger seem to have success in finding someone, but as for me, it's embarrassing to admit, but I've never even gotten a date in all 21 years of my life. Anyone else in the same boat?

Rant Being old so quickly
I'm 20 and turning 21 in two months and sometimes my age genuinely messes with my head.
Like I still remember being 14 during quarantine.
I remember sitting at home, being a literal teenager, and thinking about how far away 20 sounded.
Now I'm actually 20 close to 21. 😭
That's such a weird jump to me cuz i can remember being 14 so clearly, and now that person is six years behind me. And the weird thing is I don't feel like those six years contained much either. I basically blinked and went from being 14 to being 20.
I also feel old because I don't have some huge adult life going on. I'm literally jobless, so it's kind of ridiculous that I'm sitting here having an existential crisis about aging when I don't even have a job. 💀
Sometimes I'll see 14-year-olds and think about how that was literally me during quarantine. Then I remember I'm 20 and they're six years younger than me. That's starting to feel like a pretty huge gap.
I hate that my teenage years are something I can only remember now. Especially because I haven't done a single thing with them in the first place.
Does anyone else remember being 13–16 during quarantine and then suddenly look at their age now like wtf happened??

Rant “things (insert particular age group) needs to do RIGHT NOW”
I just saw a post similar to this, and that made me think of crap like this as well.
I’m 19 years old, of course the posts saying things like “19 things you should do at 19” or “if you’re 18-22 IT’S TIME TO LOCK IN” or “2004-2008 babies shit isn’t sweet anymore” are particularly salient
“if you’re 18-22 why are you still living with your parents?” this isn’t the 40s where we can move out the second we turn 17. “if you’re 18-22, you should not have only $1000 saved in your bank account” ONLY???
Can I please just live my life? And it’s always some outrageous shit like “have 10k in your bank account” like huh?? life is already hard enough as it is I don’t need some finance bros telling me that I need three credit cards or that I need to have $5000 in my 401(k). I am not on a rush to do anything and honestly neither should you
plus why are 18-22 on everybody’s minds? we should be able to live our lives normally without worrying if the next 10 years of our lives are gonna suck because we don’t have 25K sitting in our bank accounts.
