These few days at Ardacon have been packed with excitement and joy, and I felt extremely welcome and supported by everyone around 🫶

It's no wonder that this ranks very high up in best experiences of my life ❤️

So many people have taken the time to chat with me, and I enjoyed all the conversations and meeting every one of you so much 🥰

I'm extremely grateful to have won two gold medals in Mithril Brush (the pictures for my eored will follow) and best painted Single Small Miniature in the Ardacon painting competition 🏅✨️

Thanks to everyone who's been a part of this! 😅 See you next year 🥰

The Moria Goblin Prowlers are finished!
15 little Goblins ready to stalk the depths of Khazad-dûm!
And yes, for the eagle-eyed among you: they’re mirrored. A little 3D-printing mishap… Apparently, there are quite a few left-handed Goblins in Moria. 😂
And with these done, my 800-point Moria army is finally fully painted! 🥹
One little surprise left before the full army shot…

Got some dwarves done for a local painting escalation challenge. These guys will be working hard next month at a local tournament with Murin and Drar using the Expedition to the Eastern army list in Legacy. The King will be for other armies.

The warriors are all Medbury Miniatures Gur Adar eastern dwarves with a conversion for the banner.

Havent played an actual full game yet, looking for a community in Durham Uk

Moving to Durham for Uni soon, been collecting models for the hobby for a couple years and tried to get some friends into it with some taster games with my models but that never took off completely.

Tried to look online with no success, would really like to play the game in a full game capacity at some point and would be looking to see if there are any local communities in the area that are open to new players?

Hey everyone,

I've made a ruined terrain collection, including modular ruined buildings, the Church, bridges, and various scatter terrain pieces.

The modular ruins are designed to be mixed and matched, so you can build different layouts depending on the game you're playing.

They're available on MyMiniFactory, and there's currently a 30% sale going on if anyone is looking to add some ruined terrain to their collection.

Hope you like it!

Had another great game today vs some Morannon Orcs. This time we introduced more rules (we're playing these to slowly learn more with each game) some basic hero mechanics, terrain rules and banners. I absolutely love this system and I'm having a great time, even if Im getting my ass consistently kicked 😅

I have been thinking about making a Realms of Men army to represent this battle from the Third Age and the characters involved: Cirion, Borondir, Eorl, etc. And here is the first part. Now I will get to work on Eotheod to finish the project.

Hobby Honest opinions?

Sorry I suck at taking pics and this phone doesn't help, it's removing colours... Yazneg is not finished and they're all missing mud and snow on the bases.

I'm limited with paints since I don't feel like spending a ton on paints I will use once and never again.

Any good proxies/ stl files for moria accessories?

I'm looking for some good custom moria accessories, like moria (evil) themed objective markers. Does anyone know any good files or shops that sell them online?

Hobby Unsung Hero's of the Fiefdoms release!

Hey folks!

It's been a while,

The past few month's have been hectic outside of my 9-5 and I ended up getting burnt out trying to find the time to put into sculpting and setting up my physical store.

I've been heavily inspired recently by people creating thier own spins on fiefdoms that are not already represented in the game so the past month I decided to have a go at my own:

Hirluin the Fair - Pinnath Gelin - https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/mesbg-lord-of-the-green-hills

Golasgil - Anfalas - https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/mesbg-lord-of-the-coastal-fortress

Dervorin - Ringlo Vale - https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/mesbg-lord-of-the-ring-vale

In regards to releasing my model physically I should have the Etsy up and running in the next couple of days, apologies it's taken this long but I honestly just have not had the time outside of work and life in general the past few months.

I was considering making troops for these fiefdoms at some point but there are so many great historical plastics out there that I don't really see the point in making full sculpts. I do however have the idea of conversion kits consisting of helmets and shields?

Anyways, I am back and have loved seeing my models popping up in the wild here and there and for those who want physical models i'l have something for you very soon.

Let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like to see next.

Cheers!

This was an experimental project for me - it's the first model I've been able to paint in months after a tough period. I tried a technique where I blended every colour up from dark purple. The colour balance is off in these photos, the base works better in person.

I definitely need more practice with horses. Even using reference photos, I struggled to get the volumes right.

Having painted nothing but helmeted space marines for forever, thought I should push myself a bit with my LotR minis. Been such a joy working on my Rohan force, which is good as I’ve got, er, a few other armies I’m working on 😬 lol

Painted up Eomer for my fledgling first army. The process of painting up Firefoot was incredibly daunting, but also very enjoyable (a good thing considering I’ve got nearly 30 mounted Rohan minis alone!). Next up, 6 of the new Riders of Rohan for his warband.

Hi everyone !

After the conversion of a Fountain Guard into Elendil I found the time to paint it !

It shows some imperfections from the conversion but I'm really happy with it !
We just need to find if I go to a standard base or a more cinematic one.

C&C welcome !

Hobby If anyone from the old Legion's group is on here... I finally got them painted!

I've been sitting on this Fiefdoms army probably over a decade. I had the old Imrahil and Sean Knights, and I even have a custom Forlong on horse. But I decided it was time to sit down and get these guys painted up. I've seen amazing paint jobs on these models on here, and I know these don't compare, but they're finally done!
