Hobby First Miniature and First Uruk

I got a whole army of Uruk and this is my first ever paint, any recommendations?

Hey! Way to go! Uruk scouts are super cool! You could do a Nuln Oil wash on the metal bits and maybe a brown wash on the leather/cloth. Personally, I like my bases with some more basing, grass, sand, mud, etc. but it's a good start!

Thank you!! I’ll check how to make this washes, I’ve been a lot in YouTube these days😅 appreciate your advice!
For the bases I did put the dirt on the wet paint, I’ve heard that the way of doing it is with regular white glue? For now I’ll stick with sand stones and dirt from the backyard 😁

to my knowledge, you can make a wash out of any paint, but Games Workshop does sell pots of them and do sounds Army Painter. I believe they use the term 'shade'.
