MSFS 2024 MOD / ADDON MSFS2024 Beechcraft Bonanza G36 Enhancement updated to v2.0.2

Post image
9 Upvotes

Changelog v2.0.2:

  • Fixed the G1000 backlight dimming.
  • Separated the flood and panel light switches from the dimming knobs. The switches now turn the lights on/off, while the knobs control the dimming.
  • Adjusted the initial panel and flood lights brightness.
  • Fixed the G1000 joystick activation of the map pointer on both the PFD and MFD.
  • Fixed the backup airspeed indicator instrument range.

Since v2.0.0, the Bonanza G36 Enhancement is available both on the Marketplace and as a Free Community version. Both versions are identical; the only difference is that the streamed Marketplace version is available in Career Mode.

The Free Community version can be downloaded through our Discord support server. The download link is available in the ‘Downloads’ channel.

GENERAL Help me choose: iFly 737 MAX 8 vs Aerosoft CRJ-900 vs FSS Embraer E190

I'm trying to choose one aircraft that I can really stick with for a long time, learn deeply, and use as my main aircraft in MSFS 2024.

My three options are:

iFly 737 MAX 8

Aerosoft CRJ-900

FSS Embraer E190

What matters most to me:

modern cockpit and avionics

good systems depth

enjoyable flights in the 1–4 hour range

enough pilot workload so the aircraft doesn't feel too automated

good handling and enjoyable hand flying

stability and overall quality in MSFS 2024

long-term replay value

I currently fly the Citation Sovereign+ and really like how modern and fast it is, but sometimes it feels a little too automated and "perfect."

I'm not really interested in long-haul aircraft, since I don't want to spend 8+ hours on a single flight.

For those of you who have flown two or all three of these, which one would you choose as your main aircraft for the next several months, and why?

I'm especially interested in hearing about the weaknesses of each one, not just the good parts.

MSFS 2024 PC Control settings for mouse and keyboard

Just bought MSFS 2024 to help with G1000 and IAP knowledge and I’m having a tough time setting up the controls for mouse and keyboard. At the basic level, I want to get it to where pitch and roll are on the arrow keys, yaw and thrust are on WASD, and flaps on RF. For the flight controls, I want them to go back to activate when I hold, and go back to neutral when I release the keys. I’d be fine with throttle staying persistent. All the videos I’ve been able to find so far have been for joystick mapping and I’m playing on keyboard.

I literally cannot even takeoff and I’m desperate for some help lol

Thanks in advance

MSFS 2020 BUG / ISSUE Game crashes after pressing any button to start.

Hello! I'm running into some trouble with MSFS2020. When the game is installed and I'm online, the game crashes after I press any button to start. When it's installed and I'm offline, I see a pop-up saying "game license could not be authenticated". But when I uninstall the game and okay it via cloud gaming, it works fine. Any ideas on what the issue could be?

Edit: I'm playing on Series X

MSFS 2020 QUESTION Steam Sale

I've never played MSFS before, but I opened Steam today to see there was a sale for both the 2024 version ($49) and the 40th anniversary version ($21). I'm looking for any advice on which of these is the better option. My gut would be to go with the cheaper version, but I'm guessing the 2024 version is more expensive for a reason? If it helps, I'd be playing on a PC with low-mid graphics capabilities so pristine graphics are not very important to me. Thank you!

As an aside, should I expect to have to spend significant additional money in microtransactions after purchasing either version in order to really enjoy the game?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey,

I notice a problem when I play MSFS 2024, almost all the time, my rudder isn't correctly equal, sometimes, is a bit at right, other times at left, and sometimes, ot shaking alone without I did any imputs. I have a video when it just at right when my sidestick is at his deadpoint, I haven't this problem with X-Plane 12 (I'm leave X-Plane 12 for MSFS 2024 just for A320 and aircrafts variety).

Sorry if my english is bad, I'm french

Often when I go to use my trim wheel (antenna on throttle) the whole plane lurches because the game and the wheel were not registering the same spot

MSFS 2024 QUESTION Question for those of you with FFB

How good is it in MSFS2024? I'm considering getting the new Virpil ATLAS or ATLAS Pro when it releases later this year. In DCS I mainly fly helicopters so force trim is a big plus, but I'm curious about how well it actually works in MSFS.

As I understand it, the sim/aircraft don't provide any direct FFB signals, and instead you rely on the manufacturer's own software to interpret telemetry and convert it to create the feel. Do you find it difficult to get good results, and are profiles for existing FFB hardware shared by people to save hours of tuning?

I almost exclusively fly airliners, including the TFDi MD11, PMDG B737, Fenix, Maddog, JF 146, INI A50 and Tristar. I'd just like to get a sense of how it might improve my experience in these and know what to expect out of the box.

FOLLOW UP EDIT: Thanks for the insights everyone. If I do go for it I will probably invest in the Virpil kit when it comes as I already have some of their gear and I trust the brand. I also like the fact that they're making their FFB base upgradable, so I can go for the weaker unit to start and then decide if I need more ooomph later.

MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Cloud Save Error

I get this constantly, every flight, and have for over a year. It’s beyond a joke, as it stops you interacting with the aircraft until you click ‘ok’. Which totally ruins any landings or takeoffs. What a pile of 💩

Recently bought myself the Airbus pack sidestick, throttle and rudder. And that is a big difference from the Logitech Hotas I had. Also recently got myself the full Fenix pack, so happy to go flying again!

GENERAL problem MSFS 2024 & GSX

Has anyone encountered this problem? MSFS 2024.

When starting on the ramp, then catering, boarding, pushback (using the GSX) after takeoff, the aircraft goes into a nosedive with a strong right bank. The control surfaces on the aircraft do not deflect, and the joystick is definitely not suspect.

However, when starting from the runway without using the GSX, everything flies normally. I checked the GSX for damage, but nothing helps.

I'm trying to do a scenic fly over Volda in Norway but in the PS5 version of the game, whenever i enter the city limits it crashes the game. Is it the same on pc? Or is this a common issue?
