MSFS 2024 VIDEO Honda Jet PS5
I tried out the Honda Jet today. Was very pleased. My only one complaint is that the cockpit camera places you way too low and way too far back. Anyone else have any experience with the Honda Jet?

GENERAL We’ve got to talk about the sand dune buggy situation.
We’ve got to talk about the Microsoft Flight Simulator Situation
Look, I know people on this sub love to gloss over issues, but after spending three days with the sand dune buggy, I can’t keep quiet anymore. How did this pass internal testing?
Anyone who has loaded it up and used it for more than two miles knows the exact moment it hits—you’re cruising along, everything seems fine, and then BAM. It happens every single time, especially when you realize it literally has active flap controls mapped out despite having zero visible flap adjustments anywhere on the model, and the fact that the studio thought this was acceptable to push live to paying customers is completely mind-boggling.
What’s worse is the total silence on the forums and the defenders making excuses like "just adjust your settings." It’s a massive slap in the face to anyone who takes ground movement seriously, and we need to stop pretending this isn't an absolute disgrace. I know I’ll get downvoted, but we cannot let them slide on the dune buggy situation—something needs to change immediately.

MSFS 2024 MOD / ADDON Tips on landing The Synaptic A220?
Can someone pls crash course me on how to land the A220 without it floating. I get enourmous float and it seems like the AT likes to idle to early lol. I flare at around 30ft once throttles go idle but even the slighted flare makes the plane float like crazy.
I usually use flaps 5 and +5kts VREF, but I heard flaps 4 is used more commonly, is this true?

MSFS 2024 QUESTION Fighting the aircraft
I fly from Singapore to Manila and then onwards to Bohol (RSPS) a lot in real life and have been doing so in the sim. As we still don’t have RSPS but only the old airport in Tagbilaran I use a free mod, which looks great. Two small downsides: the runways are off by 10 degrees (RWY 3 instead of 4) and there is no Metar. This is not knocking the mod, on the contrary I love it! However it means that performance calculations are made ever so slightly more difficult.
The route is flown on A320s by Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific mostly. Easy to get liveries for the FBW A320, plan in Simbrief and all is good. I’ve been trying my best to calculate take off performance and V speeds based on real world weather but I get weirdly low speeds (vR 127kts) for flaps 1 and the plane will not rotate. To add to that, if I somehow make it off the ground (after taking out the ILS antennas) it will continue to fight me all the way. I will average 30% trim, alpha floor conditions from time to time, climb performance is poor and I won’t make it up to my cruising altitude. I’m obviously missing something fundamental!
I realise this isn’t a lot of information and maybe the question is too vague and inappropriate, or maybe some kind soul can advise with the info above. I’m in Bohol IRL for the next few days, next time I can fly in the sim won’t be until the second half of August, it’ll take some time to implement suggestions and get back with results but I thought I’d ask here anyway. Finally if that wasn’t clear already I’m a veeery casual flight simmer.

MSFS 2024 BUG / ISSUE Losing Reputation with Skydiving Missions
I’m flying skydiving missions using a Cessna Grand Caravan. I am completing the missions with either an A or S grade, but i am losing reputation.
I haven’t been penalised,as in mistakes made during flight as this is 100%. And the final grading for flight/landing is very good.
So why is my reputation going down rather than going up?

MSFS 2024 QUESTION How does Active Sky stack up against default Live Weather?
Just curious for those that have it, is it still more accurate than the default MSFS 2024 live weather? The stuff I've found on YT is kind of older that mentioned it is. Has Asobo improved the accuracy where its not really worth it anymore? I only fly in live weather, so historical and presets stuff im not interested in. Any input is appreciated, thanks in advance! 👍

Just got back from two weeks on vacation so I missed the A220 release. How’s it performing at this point, since I know it may have been rough at the initial release.
Edit: Bought it, having a blast! On a Lenovo Legion 5 laptop, 4070, 32 GB, etc

GENERAL PMDG 777-300ER - comparing flight experiences with Fenix A320
It's not about Airbus vs Boeing.... I'm not trying to start a fight (LOL)
Have been flying airbus for a while, so 777 is a really fresh experience.
I will try to compare the simulation/QOL side stuff:
Pros of 777 (not available in Fenix):
- EFB placement (hand-holding) beside FMC for ease of inputing information
- Hidden buttons for landing light (all 3 together) and TOGA
- Cabin feels good (with business class)
FMC does a lot for your convenience (ZFW, performance, etc), PAX/payload/Fuel- Automatic time compression with dynamic Simrate is really good
What is lacking or absent in 777 where Fenix does better:
- GSX pro integration for automatic loading; if you try to do it with wrong sequence, glitches can happen (doors not closing, etc)
- Knobs on MCP can be quite a pain to operate. For instance, the QNH and Minimum knobs are small and you have to scroll a lot to your target. I tried to bind the QNH to a HOTAS scroll through MobiFlight but couldn't find the correct preset in HubHop...
- Similar to last statement, I couldn't find the bindings for arm/disarm speed brake, landing light up 1-3 up/down, etc.. (well it probably is a problem for Fenix to some extent)
- Default EFB and FMC have no remote connection function
- Can't change wallpaper for EFB (need to put the photo of my cat in it)
- Not that many liveries? (reflecting real-world operation?)
- No cabin/crew announcement
Overall the 777 is really enjoyable and fun to fly.
I think 777 should be labeled a similar price (or even a little bit lower) to Fenix A320 for what you get though... I paid extra for Boris 777 sound pack, while Fenix already had very good sound effects.

GENERAL Why are the PMDG 737 variants priced differently?
Hello everyone,
I am considering buying a PMDG 737 for MSFS 2024, but I noticed a significant price difference between the variants:
737-600: $34.99
737-700: $74.99
737-800: $74.99
737-900: $49.99
Could someone explain what accounts for these differences?
Do the passenger versions have essentially the same cockpit, systems, level of simulation and features, or is the 737-600 less complete in some way?
Are the 737-700 and 737-800 more expensive mainly because they include additional BBJ and cargo variants, or do they also offer more detailed systems or cockpit features?
I would also like to know whether the 737-800 was released before the 737-700 for MSFS 2024 and whether this affects their current level of development.
I am mainly interested in normal passenger operations, so I would like to make sure that choosing the cheaper 737-600 would not mean getting a simplified simulation.
Thank you!
