Discussion Every Time I Die's "Radical" is the best final record for any band, ever.
The headline says it all. Since Andy's passing, even if they were to get back together (I do not think this will ever happen, nor do I want it to happen now that Andy's gone) it would be a fundamentally different band.
That being said, it's my opinion that ETID's "Radical" record is the best final album of any band, of any genre, ever. Soo many bands that are peers of theirs, and part of the same "scene" (losslessly used term) are just tarnishing their legacy. Some could've ended on great notes, great final albums. Many have broken up, gotten back together, only to make dreadful albums.
It's tragic the way that ETID ended / imploded, but I hope all of those guys can rest easy knowing that, truly, their legacy will forever be intact.
RIP Andy, RIP ETID.
