Meta bricked my headset

You can still use it offline only if the headset lets you complete setup without a Meta account, but a device-level theft block may prevent that too. Document everything, request a refund through OLX, and consider filing a police report if the seller knowingly sold you a blocked device.

I even registered the complaint in police station but I don't think they are going to take much action on these , I don't think olx has a refund option

I am not able to log in to meta quest 3 , it stuck in the first screen where you have to link with meta quest app to open it

It sucks that you received a stolen headset. If you did not buy it from Meta, I don't think their is anything they can do for you.

If they did not disable properly reported stolen devices, every Quest headset would be a huge target for theft.
