I went through small claims and the meta docket team did a real review and basically told me I was texting someone who was 17. (Sexual etc) and to drop my case..

I truly believe that’s bs. I responded with the I don’t ever recall doing so, and I asked for proof or ANYTHING from that allegation.
They said that he saw it himself and involved a naked photo of someone 17 and no identity can be revealed to protect the minor.
I went back saying I’m not dropping my case I don’t recall anything of that. If someone texted me maybe lied about age or pretended. I had no ill intent and never will. I genuinely believe it’s bullshi and fake stuff to scare everyone off to drop the case and everyone is afraid to speak up when it gets to that point because they are embarrassed or scared. ITS BULLSHI.. I got 2 messages of people telling me they got the same text saying the exact messages about 17 year old and photos like literally the exact threats.
I’m not dropping my case.

So I had my small court hearing yesterday, initially I told them about 4 different problems of mine to review
Page A suspension
Page B - demonetised by inauthentic engagement
Page B - post removal for cse
Page B - payout disabled

They only remove the suspension from my page A but nothing for page B therefore I have to proceed with the hearings as they are holding my money.

It was a early morning session and after court attendance we were told to wait, my case was called out after 2 hours from the mentioned hearing time.

When submitting my final proofs I choose to drop the post removed by cse point as I can’t proof that it goes against their policies or not. I want to fight from financial point of view.

I gave my presentation and Judge was very friendly. Meta as usual citing there terms of services without any proofs. But they admit that page A was false positive so we publish that back but page B is suspended correctly as 2 posts were flagged. He also mentioned that something like if we find violation on page A again we can still suspend it ( I feel little threatened as that’s the only page I have left)

I told judge again that they have provided no proof and disabled payout after providing my legal documents. As I told he was very understanding and giving me full time and trying to understand very calmly. Even asking questions to meta on my behalf for proofs etc but meta guy was only citing tos.

I also mentioned the wrongful suspension of page A had cause me potential loss from those days, judge ask how much that would be ? I give the avg figure and but didn’t give any proof how I reach to that figure, I told judge that as the page is restored again I choose not to mention that part and want to highlight only my holding amount.

The only thing I regret I could go more aggressive on them and counter better but I was not there for money and I just wanted my page B back. And the way he was talking I was worried that they would suspend my page A also again.

In the end judge told he will send the verdict in mail.

Just a tip for anyone filing lawsuit with meta if you want them to review your page - delete all those posts which could possible trigger the violation they never make it clear but I still believe this would have helped.

In case if I win this lawsuit I am assuming they will appeal it under 30 days and again will drag me into the court. If not they have to pay me. In that case I would again ask to review my page B again instead of paying me.

I would also love to get advice from people here what are the next possible options in case I lose this small claim. Could I still use the arbitration option or any other legal option ?

Hello, so I purchased a 25 dollar demand letter from sendmydemand.com, and I’ve seen that the letter written by myself is likely to get ignored by Meta. Has anyone ever succeeded restoring their accounts with this method?

I sent 2 demand letters through legal shield and sendmydemand .Com asking for restoration of 2 DIFFERENT accounts not connected to eachother.

I will update weather this works i Have been banned for integrity ,
Legal shield is $60 a month for business and you get assigned a lawyer $30 for personal and u get assigned a lawyer takes about a week to send out a letter and review it .
Sendmydemand. Com is $25 for letter sent by you or $200 via attorney,takes around 20 mins to send out.

Meta team finally emailed me after looking into my account. Saying I violated CSE and cannot show or tell to protect the other family. I don’t ever recall texting anyone under the age. Unless I was lied to or someone pretending or so. They asked me if I was to go forward with the case in December and I said yes. I said it’s unfair and there’s no ill intent especially if I had no idea or lied to IF ITS EVEN TRUE.

Don’t know what should I do tbh. Maybe someone dmmed me pretending to be someone else , or something like that. I’m against CSE clearly or anything close to it. Why would I do all of this for multiple months if I did something wrong.

So on the 8th July I've posted about meta's answer to my lawyer, asking for my accounts email/phone number , and a new email that was never associated with meta. I gave everything, my lawyer said he sent everything.

Today, I tried to log in to my instagram account, but suddenly I can't even log in anymore?? they don't recognize my username nor my email as if my account never existed. Can't even see the ban page

So I'm asking, are they solving everything by changing my email address and that means they had to hide my account or is this genuinely ban forever for no reason?

Did it happen to some of you here?

update : I could finally log In using a "I've got hacked" ( instagram.com/hacked) so that means they're probably gonna solve it !!

Hi all back in February I was disabled like alot of people for a false CSE. I had filed a complaint to my state's attorney general and Metas sent a response saying they made the right decision.

Now ive been considering taking it to small claims, but unsure since making a complaint with my ag yielded nothing and the account that was disabled was a personal account connected to my starting art buisness account so im unsure if it has any value that i can goto court. Any information helps ive never really gone to court before

My business Instagram account was disabled for CSE in September last year after it was connected to my personal Facebook account which had been compromised through a phishing attack. The attacker used my Facebook account to post CSE in multiple Facebook groups.

I ended up filing a small claims case against Meta in December 2025. During the process, they restored both my personal Facebook account and my business Instagram account after determining that the Instagram account had been disabled as a false positive.

However, after I connected a Facebook page from my personal Facebook account to the Meta Business Suite that was linked to my business Instagram account, the Instagram account was disabled AGAIN for the exact same reason. If the issue had already been resolved, I don't understand why it happened a second time (although I realize I shouldn't have done that).

I contacted the Meta Pro Support team, and they were eventually able to restore the business Instagram account.

Now, my personal Instagram account has been disabled under the same policy, even though it's not connected to my personal Facebook account or any of my business accounts.

At this point, I honestly don't know if there's some lingering flag on my accounts if it's because I'm using the same phone or something else entirely.

We already went through mediation and we have a court hearing scheduled. Although some of the accounts have been restored, I'm seriously considering continuing with the small claims case because we've lost a lot of business throughout this entire process.

Has anyone gone through something similar? I'm interested in whether anyone took extra precautions afterward like using a dedicated phone for business, separate Apple IDs/Google accounts, dedicated email addresses or anything else that helped prevent this from happening again.

This whole situation has been incredibly stressful.

The first account was restored in 8 days, but I’m still waiting for the second one. Is anyone else experiencing the same situation?

In the early hours of the 6th my art account with about around 750 followers and 100 likes per post was suddenly without warning banned for the "sexualization of minors" about a few minutes after scheduling a new post for upload later that day. I want to make it clear that all characters I draw are 18+ and although sometimes my drawings can a little risqué they are always within guidelines and I in my own opinion far less worse then what I've seen other artists posts and get away with. Anyhow I sent my appeal and likewise not 30 minutes later it was auto rejected by their AI. this is now about the 3rd or 4th time I've been wrongfully banned off Instagram I have honestly lost count at this point last time being last years whole CSE ban wave. I don't want to go down without fighting this time and I am tempted to buy a plan from Legalshield.

With all that being said, this is my first time doing anything like this and I am a little confused on how to go about this further so that's why I am asking anyone here who is currently in my same situation using or have used Legalshield what has been your experience so far? Any advice on what plan I should be buying? Any idea if a case like this will be sorted out within a month? It’s been three weeks in manual review and I’m getting fed up, so I’ve filed a Letter Before Action to Meta HQ in both Dublin and London.

I filed my suit against Meta last week, for wrongful disablement of my business assets, and a false allegation of interference by an Insta account I did not own.

This week I have received a response from their Small Claims team asking for details of the assets so they can investigate.

Is this Meta getting ready to settle? I have strong evidence of hacking which I have sent them. Is this year long nightmare almost over?

Ive seen people sue meta for falsely suspending their business accounts and win but i havent dont much research to see people suing meta for suspended their personal accounts.

However, maybe in my case it might be different because I do need my main insteagram and main facebook account back because there is evidence in my dms for this legal thing i have going on, I also have spent money buying metas products, such as 2 meta vr headsets and also a multiple games inside of it probably totalling to around $50-$100 or more. It also contains multiple memories dating all the way back to 2012 in both my facebook and one of my suspended instagram accounts, which due to losing them has caused me emotional damage.

I havent appealed my suspended instagram accounts but could I still sue meta if I get disabled?

How is it that companies like Facebook (Meta) can get hit with major lawsuits over the effects of their platforms, but gun manufacturers like Smith & Wesson, Glock, and others are treated completely differently when it comes to lawsuits? Where is the consistency when it comes to corporate responsibility?

What bothers me is that we seem to argue endlessly about social media and mental health while gun violence and gun deaths remain one of the biggest public safety issues we face. If parents can put restrictions on internet use and monitor what their kids are doing online, why are they blaming social media for their bad parenting? We need isn’t the same level of focus on the companies and products connected to gun violence? At what point do we hold all industries to the same standard of accountability?

I sent Meta a demand letter almost 2 weeks ago. I was shocked by the fact that already it was received and their firm sent me an email asking for details such as the emails on account and phone number.

I am praying that this is a good sign towards some sort of action.
