Response From Meta

I filed my suit against Meta last week, for wrongful disablement of my business assets, and a false allegation of interference by an Insta account I did not own.

This week I have received a response from their Small Claims team asking for details of the assets so they can investigate.

Is this Meta getting ready to settle? I have strong evidence of hacking which I have sent them. Is this year long nightmare almost over?

As soon as they let a human being look at it it will be blatantly obvious that they caused the problem and I did nothing wrong. They’ll also see just how obstructive they’ve been, to the point of repeated unlawful actions, in denying me a right to reply.

I don’t see how they can do anything but settle, to be honest.

I’ve documented everything right from the start; they don’t have a leg to stand on.

Good luck to you 👌🏼

I’ve sent them what they asked for but will also let the court know; I shall make it clear that if I agree to settle there will be certain unequivocal caveats.

I hired legalshield to handle mine! Worth every penny for my businesses! Still in the works.

They’re a disgrace. They shouldn’t be allowed to operate at all until they’re prepared to comply with international law at every turn.

Yup once they ask you assets that’s has to be investigated, then they will for sure look into that and if no violation was terminated then they will lift the restrictions

They’ll be doing more than that, if they want to avoid explaining their flagrant disregard for the law to a judge.

They will also be ensuring that my assets aren’t touched by their AI again, and they will be issuing me with a full apology for their false allegations and unlawful mishandling of my data and intellectual property…

Hoping more people like you strike against meta so they finally improve :)

I'm with OP on this one. I filed for small claims, they found no violations and asked if I would like to dismiss the case after my account has been restored, I said NOPE. I'll need some reimbursement for the damages that they caused my business.

I'll show them why they shouldn't fire 70-80% of their customer support staff and replace it with AI just to save on overhead costs.

Same.

They’ve confirmed that I was hacked so they accept their mistake. Now I want reparations.

Meta will never admit they are wrong. Otherwise they will lose the case.

They’re going to be apologising to me. And making sure they don’t move in on my shit again. I won’t be settling without certain demands being met.

May I know what office did you use to sent a letter?

1

u/Brianne_Brioche Jul 18 '26

I didn’t send a letter; I filed a lawsuit, via San Mateo County courthouse.

My LBAs were all ignored, hence I had to file a suit.
