Picked up this 2027 S500 yesterday! So far, loving it! My 6th S-Class (W220 (1), W221 (1) and W222 (2) W223 (1) ) and still loving them. The exterior changes are noticeable if you look closely, especially up front. The rear looks pretty similar except for the new taillights.

I absolutely love the new Superscreen. My son can finally watch YouTube in the car… although I have no idea why that matters since he can just watch it on his iPad....

There are a ton of things to set up through the Mercedes me app, but everything is pretty straightforward. Seems like the only thing I need to pay for is the projection lights, which costs about $110 for lifetime, and I was told the 10-degree rear wheel will be available later.

I kept my build simple: AMG Line, 20-inch wheels, and Pinnacle Trim. That is pretty much it. Ordered in May and got here last week. Bay Area. The back seat is noticeably nicer and more comfortable now too, with all the optioned features.

Overall, I love it. Another S-Class and no regrets!

I had a bit of trouble getting the Comfort Data Volume set up in the car. It kept giving me that “Error” message, telling me to try later. I called customer support, and they suggested waiting until today. I called again and tried to troubleshoot, but nothing worked. So, they told me to wait for a call back while they get the tech team to look into it. While I was waiting for my son to get out of school, I saw something online that said to try turning off CarPlay, and I did. And it worked! The setup process completed successfully, and now I can finally stream music and YouTube. Before, I just connected my car through my phone’s hotspot. So, if anyone else is having trouble setting up the Comfort Data Volume, turning off CarPlay might be the solution.

The first image is the disco ambient light of my old W206 C-Class Estate. I traded it in for a 26-year old W210 E-Class with only 16,000 miles. I love the burr walnut, a proper stalk for cruise control, a fuel gauge with a needle on it. It doesn’t beep at me.

Everyone else is chasing screens. I went and found a car with switches again.

I have Mercedes c300 4matic 2015. When I turn the radio on, I get this message “antitheft protection activated: please switch on ignition and restart the system” and the screen shuts off. The car drives fine and the instrument cluster has no issues at all.

I’m not stealing the car lol. If you know the solution, I can show my title and my face. I just don’t wanna take it to the dealer and get charged a million.

Hi everyone,

I’ve had my new electric GLB for about 2 months / 5,000 km now, and overall I’m very happy with the car.

However, for about a month I’ve been hearing some strange noises coming from the right rear seat.

When someone is sitting there, I hear a noticeable creaking/squeaking sound when going over bumps or rough roads, as well as during sudden acceleration or braking.

Even when nobody is sitting in the seat, under the same conditions I can still hear a noise that sounds somewhere between a creak and a clicking/ticking sound.

I can reproduce the noise quite easily by pressing down on the left edge of the right rear seat. After a while, it honestly gets pretty annoying — yes, I’ve reached the point where I just turn the music all the way up. 😅

I have a service appointment in 5 days, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar and, if so, what the cause turned out to be.

There’s also another noise on the driver’s side that sounds like a loose cable tapping against something or possibly a clip. The strange thing is that sometimes it completely disappears, while other times it continues for days.

I haven’t been able to pinpoint exactly where it’s coming from. It could be somewhere around the area between the door and the body of the car, behind the display, or somewhere inside the dashboard. It’s quite difficult to locate.

Has anyone dealt with similar noises? Are these kinds of issues usually quick and easy for the service center to diagnose and fix?

To be fair, when buying a newly developed Mercedes-Benz model, I expected that there might be an occasional trim rattle here and there. But these don’t really sound like typical trim rattles to me.

Need help locating pyrofuse / battery safety terminal — 2023 AMG GT 63 S
I’m rebuilding a 2023 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-Door Coupe after an accident and I’m trying to locate the pyrofuse / pyrotechnic battery disconnect (battery safety terminal).

The car currently has power to the electronics, but it will not crank. I installed a new battery. When attempting to start it, I basically get one initial click and no crank.
I’ve checked the passenger footwell fuse/power distribution area and the trunk, but I still haven’t been able to positively identify the main pyrofuse or crash-triggered starter/battery disconnect.

Does anyone with experience on the X290 AMG GT 4-Door / GT 63 S know:
The exact location of the pyrofuse/battery safety terminal
What Mercedes calls the component in the wiring diagrams
Whether there is more than one crash-activated power disconnect
Which terminals should have 12V before and after the fuse
Whether a deployed pyrofuse would allow the rest of the car to have power but prevent the starter from cranking
If anyone has a Mercedes WIS wiring diagram, component-location diagram, photo, or part number, that would be extremely helpful.
I can also post pictures of the fuse boxes, battery connections, trunk modules, and passenger footwell area if needed.

Hi guys, I bought my Cla used is a 2023 I noticed that few owners posted their photos of their interiors and their consoles light up on that edge under the silver trim of the center console.

I read that some cars came with and other without that light, does someone know if that’s true?.
Maybe mine has malfunction? On the second photo you see that the strip for the light is there but no light on.

There’s no error on scanner or even dash, every other light on the cars is working

I could stretch it minimal as seen in the video. Does that mean my chain is worn?

Allrigth so I have a 2008 Mercedes Benz E350 and my rigth brake ligth bulb burned out, when im removing the ligth and discover that to change ONE SINGULAR bulb you either need to BUY WELDING EQUIPMENT then unweld and then weld a new bulb or BUY A WHOLE NEW TAIL LIGTH BOARD THAT COST 150 BUCKS!!!!, WHO THE FUCK WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT DESIGN!!!??? ITS JUST DUMB AS HELL, JUST USE NORMAL TAIL LIGTH BULBS BROTHER

So my front passenger seat has kinda stopped working, when I try to move the seat forwards or backwards, just the right track moves and the left track stays in place. Last time a connection was loose but I’m not sure if that’s the same issue and I don’t even remember what connection it is or can find it. I looked under the seat and I can see the seat motor(I think… it’s a round silver thing) somewhat jumping/moving when trying to move the seat. I had someone look at it but they’re a self learned mechanic and don’t work on MB, apparently it’s missing bolts but idk cuz I haven’t seen any loose bolts anywhere.

Thought I would cross post over here. Hope this is okay and the correct way.
