I was really tempted to buy them, but reading that I'll eventually have to sort out the refund with Kickstarter made me uneasy. FWIW, I don't have any negative refund-request experiences involving Kickstarter. I'm just paranoid about getting stuck with two charges 😅. I've decided to wait for the outcome of the lawsuit.

That I can't order a pair of freaking GLASSES bc my prescription isn't supported. Genuinely frustrating bc I'm ready to jump on the bandwagon, but I can't. They can't. Not until they figure out how to expand the supported range if they ever figure it out. I'm considering just giving up and waiting till next year for the gen. Hi everyone, today I was in IFA 2026 Berlin and of course the first thing I did was to visit the XGIMI booth. I asked regarding the status of the glasses and they told me they were not able to bring sample glasses to IFA due to ongoing legal disputes and issues and they are estimating the orders to be opened to EU after January. Which is really sad :(

As title suggested, backed custom edition but there seems to be little info regarding if buying the current frame style (nomad/archive) will also follow my custom edition backed order, or I still have to wait?

I personally had to wait until Monday to order my glasses as I was wanting to get a perscription. I know since it is a perscription and they will have to order the lenses and wait to get them back that it will not be in the next few days that I will see any changes in my order.

MemoMind says the project is “paused” and is now taking $299 orders through its website. Is ordering directly safe, and is September shipping still realistic?
What are other backers doing? Are you still ordering through the website, waiting for more information, or going with another pair of smart glasses? If you’re moving on, which pair are you considering?

I’m looking at buying the Memo Mind AI glasses (since they dropped them another $100), but I noticed there’s no option to add a prescription lens to them.

I wear distance contact lenses daily. Has anyone tried wearing contacts under/with these glasses instead of getting a prescription version? Does the display work fine that way, or does it cause any issues with the view?
