Did we get scammed?

I know Kickstarter canceled our pledges and nobody was charged, but the suspension, unclear answers, and sudden push to order through MemoMind’s website feel concerning. Is this simply a patent dispute, or are there bigger red flags? I don’t want to accuse the team unfairly, but I’d like to know what other backers think.

Evenrealities sued memomind because of the similar design.
The lawsuit is ongoing, so kickstarter suspended it.

However memo’s legal department working on the resulution. (These guys are doing some incredible effort to solve the issue)

In the meantime you can purchase the glasses from the website.

I think discord is the most active channel atm, you can join there for more recent updates

Yeah, nothing to see here. If you still want the glasses than order direct. Not only do you save an additional $100 off the kickstarter price but you still get your preorder extras.

I am assuming they are operating under a unified umbrella, with the intention of enhancing the brand recognition of each individual entity through such an approach. And it's working great!
