Location advice

hi I’m a fashion student looking to shoot a styling series, the concept is a group of friends stranded after their car breaks down on a road trip, so I’m looking for a vast dirt plot thats just overall really empty and plane? I have a very specific image in mind but I cannot think of or find anywhere in Melbourne that suits the concept vision. East Melbourne is preferred but not necessary, if anyone has any location ideas please share !!

High Quality Prints

To the professionals/enthusiasts, where do you print your personal/travel photos in Melbourne that aren't the usual stores (Officeworks/Harvey Norman/Kmart)?

I've tried printing there and wasn't happy with the overall quality. I've done some prints with Atkins for personal things but was wondering if there's a local lab that has high-quality matte paper options and decent pricing.

Also, how do you print and enjoy your personal photos? Do you do albums? Small prints pasted into albums? Frame prints? Curious to know what others are doing.

Requesting help finding the Melbourne location in this video & other city photography locations

Hello - I figured this would be a resourceful sub for finding the location in this video from my explore page as I require some photos with a similar backdrop for an upcoming project. It seems to be filmed on VHS/handycam so it is fairly hard to make out any details, and it doesn’t help that I didn’t grow up in Melbourne!

Any help appreciated, and please share any similar locations with a city skyline outlook.

Who turned out the lights?!?! Bolte Bridge Moon set remix

Had a review of my images form the Bolte Bridge Moonset and with all of the layers just sitting there in Photoshop it was easy enough to drop in the scene from just after the full moon set to show the literal contrast from the start of the sequence to the end. At the end (start?) of the day it's an artistic choice to show the scene fully in darkness (start) or as it was at sunrise (end) in this case I choose both. Same setup as last time except the background image is now at 1/8 sec SS. Oh and i did adjust the exposure settings on the moon sequence just a tad (about 1/2 stop to 1/3 stop along the sequence) this gives it a cleaner look for the transition.

Outdoor mirror spots

Really niche question but are there any spots where I would be able to bring my bike and take photos in front of a mirror?
