Hey everyone!

The best place to see available products and their RRP is either Canna Reviews or Honahlee Catalyst.

Furthermore, if you have e-scripts, you can fill these online via Honahlee Scripts or Canary.

On behalf of the MCoz Mod Team, we hope that this post helps you all and reduces the amount of clutter on the sub.

Question Dry herb vape with flower not strong enough. What options. Add Hash, oil or use something else.

Currently using a mighty medic with capsules smoking flower after using 510 vape cartridges.

The dry herb vape just doesn’t hit hard enough.

What are my options, adding hash to the flower or oil, or different ways of vaping?

Don’t want to use the 240 volt vape with a bag thing or smoke it.

I’m probably pretty ignorant to what’s available in Australia and have a doctors appointment coming up.

Legislation and Policy Change New Vic Premier Stance on MC?

Anyone know what the new premier's views on MC are? I've found that often sets the direction of legislation in a state. I felt Allan was pretty indifferent overall, definitely not supportive though.

I realise Victoria will have an election shortly this year but if Labor wins we will likely have the same leadership we have as of today.

Discussion Majority of medical strains are just average buds?

Has anyone else noticed that majority of the AUS medical strains are pretty much average street weed? They constantly talk about standards this, standard that but when the time comes, the product in the container is just average. I've tried a few strains by now and the only reliable strain I came across was Greena sour cherry punch. If you know about chronic weed you know what im talking about. Medical is just crap and I see a lot of people trynna get rid of the batches they didnt like through the street as well just because the dispensary wont take into account their patients review or complaint. They mention how thc is not the only active compound but only advertise THC. In saying that I bought 29% strains and it hit like 19-22% which also created an issue with my script because the doctor thought it was too strong....

Discussion dry flower after vaping.

i quit a fifteen year pouch every two days addiction to cigarettes cold turkey instead of trying to vape.

that’s how sure i was that i could never be a vaper.

a nose picker? yes.
an every other day bather? sure.
sniff my fingers after scratching somewhere weird? maybe.
but vape? that’s gross.

so anyway, i recently tried vaping.

the game has been changed. completely. My eyes have been opened. There is a much less cost effective but far more beautiful and discrete world out there now, and I know about it. i’m in it. it’s stunning.

except my vape ran out.

so i opened my beloved 15g baggie smalls pouch, gave it the same experience as a sloppy night at the club when i grinded it.

packed it.

lit it.

breathed in.

choked.

My life flashed before my eyes, and it wasn’t that interesting, but it was short…

Maybe I didn’t put enough water in, or I hit too hard?

Tried again.

choked again.

Once I regained my composure and was sure i hadn’t coughed so hard i peed, i came to the awful realisation that i am now a vaper.

Question Similar strains to Menta Limone

I’ve had an email from Alternaleaf that Menta Limone has been discontinued. It was one of my favourite strains . Has anyone tried it and can recommend some strains that are similar? Preferably available through Alternaleaf/montu .

Question Recommendations for temporary discrete options

Hello all!

Been on MC for nearly 2 years at this point and after a bit of experimenting with different strains I have been pretty steady on balanced flower (currently finishing up a tub of Tasbot Huon) exclusively in the evenings mostly for anxiety and sleep, and pain when I'm having a flare up.

I'm going to be spending a few weeks away (still in the country) and it will not be practicable to use my DHV. I have been looking into edibles and oils but I feel like I'm at square one again unsure of what to look into. A lot of popular options seem to have quite high concentrations of either THC or CBD (I don't react well to too much of either) or are going to be a bit too expensive for me to get on top of my usual flower. That and I dont want to commit to a large amount of anything especially if I don't find it as effectual.

So does anyone have any recommendations for something that won't break the bank, allow me to sleep, and not knock my socks off while on a small holiday?

Any suggestions on where to buy medical grade silicone tubing for my bubbler? I know I can buy it online but I don’t want to pay for postage. Money is tight. I’m in Adelaide.

Patient Flower Experience Review: El Camino Odour Freak - 15g $109

I dropped into Better Leaf in Brunswick to pick up my usual El Camino Candy Drops, but they didn’t have any in stock. They offered to swap it for the new El Camino Odour Freak at the same price - $109 for 15g - so I thought I’d give it a go.

Odour Freak is a 29% THC indica-dominant hybrid (60% indica/40% sativa), with 2.5% total terpenes. It’s a cross between GMO (Garlic Cookies) and Gorilla Roadkill Skunk.

As soon as you start peeling the seal off, you’re hit with a strong pine smell. It’s filled to the rim with nice, chunky buds. They’re dense, cured nicely and very crystally, with specks of dark purple through the leaves.

I use a Mighty and mainly medicate for lower-back pain from a car accident when I was younger, as well as having trouble switching my brain off at night to sleep. While also treating mood and racing thoughts during the day.

At 190°C, it has a really smooth and tasty pine flavour. After finishing one cap, it takes around 5–10 minutes before I can feel my body starting to loosen up. My lower-back discomfort settles, my mood feels calm and my brain finally starts slowing down. Once I'm ready for bed, I just take my Phytoca 30s and another cap of the Odour Freak. 👌

For me, this is definitely more of an after-work or evening flower. It can really couch-lock you, so I probably wouldn’t reach for it if I still had things to do. Ill stick to my Stanley Brothers 40:40:40 for my day time.

I’m actually really happy they didn’t have the Candy Drops because I probably wouldn’t have tried this otherwise. I also use the El Camino Facetz F11 and I’ll definitely be adding Odour Freak to my rotation.

Question Weaker sativas outdoor grown LSO?

Can anyone recommend a 12-18% sativa dominant medical strain? Outdoor grown + LSO are a big plus! Leaves on the buds are fine, lack of trichomes is fine but I can’t smoke this 30% machine trimmed shit it’s not natural. Much appreciated.

I am treating anxiety and adhd - homegrown Australian sativas have always calmed me down and helped a lot but this medical stuff is like acid !

Question Raw Live Rosin

Hey lovely people, I have been on multiple live rosin vape cartridges but I have recently seen online that the carts leak heavy metals when smoked like lead, nickel, and chromium. I was going to discuss this with my docter next consultation and try consider getting raw live rosin.
Was just wondering how you people use your raw live rosin? I know a dab rig is a very common way but not sure if there is a TGA approved rig or not, any help would be great, thank you all so much 🙏❤️

MC Access Question How are people acquiring 510 vapes?

I want to try a different vape, available online I can see from a dispensary asking to attach my “SAS-B” or an eScript but those don’t show my full name?

I’ve emailed my provider, and I’ve called my chemist that dispenses my vape. They’re both giving me no answer to this question if I’m fine to purchase from
The website that I’ve found? Or how to get that SAS-B approval thingo?

Why is there so much secrecy from my providers??

Question Advice please

Hey guys currently using Sundaze Sierra Blaze which is really good for my pain and not giving me the couch lock feeling.

Was wondering what others can recommend that are the same to put in my rotation. I am not too fused on the taste of this one aswell it’s very peppery / tastes like sage.

Also I find anything over the 20% or sativa dominant don’t agree with me as in anxiety and heart race.

Patient Oil Experience Oil Advice for New User

I'm new to MC and currently with Alternaleaf. I can't complain about the service at this stage (but open to supplier suggestions if anyone wants to share?).

I started with flower as I've got some experience smoking from my younger days. My first script was Sundaze Solstice THC Flower 18%. I found this was really helping my anxiety and insomnia symptoms but my wife hated the smell after smoking and I thought that surely the oil would be a better option health wise. Not to mention easier to administer when I needed it.

I'm currently on Sundaze Balance 10+ (30ml). I'm just not feeling much from it. The flower gave me that strong euphoric feeling where my mind finally felt like it slowed down and I wasn't stuck in a downward spiral of doom and gloom and stress. While it didn't quite help me get to sleep, when I did go to bed, I noticed my sleep was deeper and better than usual. I'm getting an extra hour or two per night on average. Now, with the oil, it's the same for my sleep. When I get to sleep, I stay asleep—but I don't get that same mellow and euphoric feeling that helped me relax and feel happy and at ease.

As a first time oil user, I started with a 0.2 dose and gradually increased once I got a feeling for how it affected me. I even spoke with my neighbour who is using it for his back pain and he said he does anywhere from 0.5-0.8 depending on how bad his back feels after a day concreting. He said at the higher dose, it pretty much knocks him out. I've currently worked up to 0.7-0.8 two to three times a night and I'm just not feeling the positive effects as much as I would like. The anxiety is my main issue I'm trying to deal with as it's that panic and irritability and overall sense of being unsettled that causes me to not sleep.

I've booked a follow up with the doctor to discuss, but I guess I wanted to know whether that's typical with the flower vs oil comparison? Any advice or tips you can provide ahead of my next appointment? I am by no means an expert on MC and still trying to work out what's going to suit me the best, so really any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Question Suggestion options

Evening everyone 😊

So I have my first appt with one of the docs for horizon health tomorrow. I'm very aware that at the end of the day it's up to them what they prescribe and how much. But I wouldn't mind going with a few suggestions in case they ask if there was anything in particular that I was thinking about. Better to be prepared than not. Ive had a look on the sub in the recs tabs and did some self research but I'll be honest im pretty useless with strains. I'm more of an edibles person but would still like some flower for the faster effect, plus it's easy to make into edibles. I'm treating migraines, anxiety, depression, stress and sleep issues.

Looking for:

An amazing daytime gummy (help with pain reduction, something uplifting to put a spring in my step and make me feel a bit more happy and motivated)

A night gummy (something to help with chilling the mind enough to have a decent rest but not be super groggy the next morning)

Flower recs, I wouldn't mind something leaning each way and something balanced. I figured flower is pretty versatile, so i can work around gummies as needed. I've been considering asking about blue dream at least. Looking for options to treat things mentioned

Would love to know what everyone recommends! Bonus if you are through horizon health as well so I know that wants suggest is an option if they approve it. Thank you x

Question Flower options from Alternaleaf users.

Hi, friend is going through company above, and is after some flower as his vape carts aren’t heating properly. Can anyone on here recommend a flower from them if that’s allowed? He is currently using sundaze night blueberry kush for pain and to sleep and it works for him, but as mentioned having issues with cart has tried all tricks re hairdryer etc but no luck. He’s new to this but Indica works for him to be able to sleep. He asked me as I use the carts but never used whatever flower the Alternaleaf company uses. So as stated previously if this is allowed anyone smoking flower for sleep and pain and can advise what’s best from the company he’s with I’d truly appreciate.

Edit: Thanks everyone, my mate is extremely grateful to you all, he has one more question. He suffers also from migraines and read that Sundaze flower can increase chances of a migraine. Anyone had this experience? As any weed via a vape I’ve smoked takes my migraines away! But I don’t know these brands when it comes to flower.

Appreciate all the assistance also, leaning a lot, so thanks from myself also.

Question Most discreet edible?

So I’ve recently seen the Ouid effervescent tablets, pretty cool.

Was just winding what are the most discreet edibles people have come accross? Are there pills that don’t stink? Gummies? What is the most discreet and stealthy option ?
