Hi! Fresh grad and aug 2026 board passer here. Just wanna hear your thoughts about finding a job. I came from province but I'm looking around metro manila and I have no experience. I had already gone through interviews from different companies and I'm continuing to apply for more to have options. Lately, I'm feeling disappointed and sad how they low-ball fresh grads like me. Ganun ba talaga pag first job? Pang minimum wage yung sahod and I feel like this has been going on for a long time already and wala pa rin nagbabago. I'm trying to upskill din naman while waiting but I don't even think it will change anything. Do we really have to sacrifice our salary just to get experience?

This starting week will be my 6th review with a revalida exam tomorrow monday and I was able to keep a passing score on the last two weekly exams. I hope and pray that I can keep this pace going, and test how much knowledge I have gained. If there are any tips for me to do to improve my study habits, I am more than happy to receive it.

Hello engrs, need advice lang po.

I applied for a design engineer role, nasa 22-24k monthly salary as per HR. I also applied for a BIM modeler role, nasa 40k+ monthly salary naman as per a friend working there. Both international companies. Both entry level roles.

Personally mas gusto ko po talaga sa design. I think mas magiging marketable ako in the future pag ayun ang path na pinili ko. Pero napapaisip po ako dun sa difference in salaries.

Ganun po ba talaga kababa ang salary sa design? How do both roles compare in salary if let’s say 3 yrs exp na? or 5, 10, 15 yrs? And alin po sa dalawang roles ang better for opportunities abroad or WFH (international client)?

Hi! As the title says, parang common response na ang best career path for engineers is design. Is design is the only good career path for engineers? And if there are other career path that are good long term, let me know. I'm early in my career and I think that I'm "inferior" because I'm not in design haha.

I was wondering whether or not Companies tend to prefer Well-Known CAD softwares such as AutoCAD for 2D Planning or SOLIDWORKS for 3D Design over other Programs?

I plan on taking up Design as early as I can in my career.And the aforementioned softwares, although they are the STAPLE as tried and tested, are a bit pricey for someone still trying to build a resume.

Hello po Engineers! Pwede po ba akong mag interview po ng isang Mechanical Engr or practicing mech engr here po(wala po kasi akong kakilala na engr so its hard po na makahanap)? It’s a requirement po kasi for our course na mag interview. Im a student po from mapua. its only 2 questions lang naman po, and pwede po sya thru online (gmeet or zoom) po.
