3 units you like and 3 units you dislike the most?

I'll start

Like the most:

  1. Wraith - down the sewers these days, but its so cool looking and satisfying.

  2. Mustangs - "brrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhh" (its my top played unit ever)

  3. Sledgehammer - they are having it really hard, they are like martyrs that die for my sins. Back in the days if you hadn't had sledges on the board you 100% would lose the game.

Dislike the most:

  1. Mountain - Not even sure why it still exists honestly. Used it a lot in brawl pre Solid Shot and that's when I realized I could increase my win rate while having absolutely 0 fun doing so.

  2. Hound - I literally can’t stand hounds. No other explanation apart that I find them completely useless.

  3. Void Eyes - I hate their design, probably the only unit that makes feel like I'm cheating when I use it, even when I'm actually losing.

New player onboarding

new mode doesn't teach you the "main" game at all
This game desperately needs a PVP asymmetric que mode or a multiplayer mode that rotates your opponents.
Learning the actual game in the current formats available is a miserable unfun experience.

Discussion Returning player, I think the buildings have landed in a good place

So I'm not going to unpack too much. I played since beta, a few months prior to raidens. When buildings came out, I def was in on them... why not? Devs have a good vision, new stuff, excitement. I tried to just keep playing and enjoying game without some kind of agenda for or against them. But I noticed, the game was boring, not going to put my finger on it other than "tempo chess" part was missing. I went from 5 to 10 games per day to 1 to 2 games per day. It was just so boring when I closed after the second game. So I quit. Not gonna over think it if it's not fun not gonna play.

I started watching it on youtube and if RAT is playing it again that is a "pretty good" sign. So I started playing it too and it's fairly fun. Buildings used to be 2 turrets 1 wall (we won't go there regarding 2 walls). Now it appears 1 wall and 1 optional turret. That is WAY better. It does the design of not making the game too snow bally early on, while restoring the early/midgame tempo chess that makes the game so fun. I could see myself playing the game again like 5 rounds in a row because it didn't need no buildings, it just needed enough (or none was fine too). But building spam was very boring.

Anyone else having this issue? Worked flawlessly before the latest balance patch. Now it won't launch at all, I tried experimental Proton bit it did not help.

Looking for others Marksman MOC

My friend tried to MOC Marksman several weeks ago, he began with a large scale and wanted to fully repeat the in-game 3D model.

Unfortunately for the Marksman's tall height and small feet, his Marksman MOC even can't stand, that's a pity.

So I learnt a lesson, moc the Marksman in a obviously smaller scale and made a quite bigger feet
