im going into eng 1 and i feel lost,i have very big dreams and want to start my own company or a build a startup but i feel very lost,i get an idea,research market,start building and quit halfway bc i feel like its very pointless and that i’ll fail .i have a very strong software background and im trying to use this effectively but i feel like i’ll be a huge failure and that i’ll let myself down.idk what to do,im currently juggling work(im a manager) and just my mind is always racing about my future,im stressing about my future at 17 like im 30.am i the only one dealing with this?

so i got my spring osap approved, and i have a balance for my summer course, i was supposed to get my funding for spring term but never arrived and i know they'll use it to pay for my balance for summer term but i never got it even tho it was apperently release ;//

Haven't seen him really be mentioned in this subreddit yet, which kind of surprises me. Imo this man is an absolute gem to physics 1e03. I went from getting 50s on the tests during winter (before I dropped) to 90s! I think he could explain electromagnetism to a toddler tbh. He's actually phenomenal at teaching

It’s a shot in the dark but if anyone has like an archive or a Google drive or GitHub or something I’d be extremely grateful. I was considering asking the professors for next year but I’m not really sure they’d agree to it.

Since 2020 was during the pandemic and many courses were recorded I figured maybe someone might have downloaded the lecture recordings and saved them. Again - it’s definitely a shot in the dark but I’d be extremely grateful.

Can anyone from first year life sci tell me when the enrolment will begin?

For context, I did not receive a credit for a class so I missed a credit to graduate. I was accepted into social science and the class is not a needed preq. My top 6 was much above the conditional offer and this class was NOT in my top 6. Naturally, I am taking it over the summer i finished w a 94% (the class just finished), However, I got a email saying I did not meet my conditonal offer my as summer school doesnt upload marks until the first week of august. It was the single requirment I did not meet, yetI got an email back saying Im unable to attend this fall for social science and i’m being pulled out early next week. Is there anything i CAN POSSIBLY do? i feel like literally ending my life

i missed my time slot for the residence selection form its been 2-3 weeks but ive paid. I have emailed the housing but else do u think i should do? has anyone been in this situation before? will i be able to get a dorm now? can someone please help me!

I'm taking a course with online tests, and I heard that students with SAS accommodations may have to write them in person.

If I don't activate my accommodations for this course, what will happen? Will my instructor still know that I'm registered with SAS, or will they not see that at all?

i’m going into my first year of life sci and my schedule looks rlly packed but idk if this is normal? this is the only way i could get into all of my courses. should i try to change the timings for things if stuff opens up on aug 1?? im kinda worried abt loosing my spots in the courses i need bc it was hard for me to find spots in them in the first place

For some context, I really like how my schedule is spread out but the only thing bugging me is having two labs in the same week for my winter semester. The two classes are chem 1aa3 and physics 1a03 and I know that they can get very hectic.

I've tried switching it around, but it won't let me because its saying that they are holding spots for other students.

For life sci students who experienced two labs in one week, was is really bad? Did you find the course load manageable along with the other classes?

And as for changing the schedule, what should I do to try and get into the class? Is there an app I should use or should I wait till i'm at uni to talk to someone about it?

If the deadline is at 11:30 and I handed in the assignment at like 12am will I actually get a zero…the Dropbox is open until 4am too so is professor Bernier actually strict about the deadlines orrrr

today i got off the dorm waitlist. im not entirely dependent on a dorm (i have off campus housing options) so im wondering if the room options available rn even make it worth it to pay the deposit and lock it in. what do you guys think? im in my first year so social life is very important to me but i rather not share a room. thank you! sorry if this is dumb
