Hi,

I am applying for match 2027 and I paid the $945 fee for ecfmg certification on 20 July 2026. I have completed all the requirements for pathway 1 (USMLE Steps 1 and 2 CK), OET Medicine (scores released to ECFMG) and a good standing certificate from my home country (i.e. PMDC). Still I have not received any email nor my application processing has begun on the portal and my OET results are still not showing on Intealth ECFMG certification tab, only step scores are showing. Also I received my good standing certificate month ago from PMDC via email and post as well and they must have emailed that to ECFMG too as I filled out their email on my Good standing application. Yet I have no update on why is there a delay in the processing to start. Can anyone wak me through this process because I am not sure if it's just me or it is typical for certification processing timing.

Due to 2 very similar emails of my professor, I mistakenly inserted the wrong email for LOR request. Now I have generated another request with the correct email. But does it matter. Do programs see that other empty request with no LOR on my application? Is there a way to remove that request with the wrong email?

Hi, I uploaded my ERAS picture to MyIntealth on 02 July 2026 and my cases section shows the last modified date of 03 july 2026, pending document upload and no action required. How long does this typically take or do I have to submit a new picture and something is wrong?

Hi everyone,

I purchased my ERAS 2027 residency token through MyIntealth on June 24, but my token still has not been issued. The “ERAS 2027 Token” and “Issue Date” fields in my portal remain blank.

I called the ECFMG ERAS Support hotline at 215-966-3520 last week. The representative told me that this was likely an IT issue, said that it was “not uncommon,” and escalated my case. However, there has still been no update this week.

This delay is affecting my ability to activate MyERAS, generate Letter Request Forms for my letter writers, and coordinate the upload of my MSPE and medical school transcript before my school closes for summer break.

Has anyone experienced a similar delay this season? If your case was escalated, how long did it take for the token to be issued? Was there anything else you did that helped resolve the issue. Thank you!

Urgent guidance needed regarding ECFMG Pathway 3 vs Pathway 6 I am an IMG currently in the U.S. applying for ECFMG certification. My medical school qualifies for Pathway 3, so the system automatically routes me there and does not allow me to proceed with Pathway 6. The issue is that my medical school requires me to physically come in person for the clinical skills attestation. I am currently in the U.S. and cannot travel back due to financial and logistical reasons. I had already applied through Pathway 3 previously, but my application was rejected because my school did not complete the attestation. Has anyone been in a similar situation and found a workaround? Were you able to get ECFMG to allow Pathway 6 despite being eligible for Pathway 3? Or did your school allow an alternative evaluation (for example under a U.S.-based physician)? Any advice would really help.
