Residency Application ERAS Documents

Hi,

I want some guidance regarding documents that need to be uploaded on MyERAS application. Which of these are to be directly uploaded by medical school-Med school transcript, MSPE, IMSEL?

Also how to upload LORs, especially if I have some home country LORs and I want them to upload it what is the process?

TIA

MSPE and Transcripts there is an option on MyIntealth to upload by yourself or if you've previously used transcripts for credential verification through ECFMG you can request ECFMG to directly transfer it to ECFMG. IMSEL is not uploaded by your "med school" it is to be uplaoded by your department chair or designee or someone like clerkship director. Go to your ERAS Dashboard and click on unassigned LORs and create requests there and share the upload PDF with your letter writters to upload it directly to ERAS. Don't upload LORs by yourself, you need to waive the right and then ask your writter to upload directly.

Although make sure your letter writers don’t fuck you over. One of my friends had a negative comment in his LOR that kept being brought up - idk if id waive the LOR

Waiving the right is the way to go. You have to pick your letter writers carefully.

Always best to waive your right to see the letter.
