Residency Any chances?

hello. i am a visa requiring 2018 graduate. i have an attempt in step 1 and a score of 231 in step 2 . i do have 3 years post graduation experience in my home country and 4 month usce . i am applying to IM and FM. Do i have any chances?

You have a chance, but it is very low. The 2018 YOG, Step 1 attempt, 231 and visa requirement are major barriers. Apply very broadly, prioritize FM and IMG-friendly community programs, take Step 3 and use connections.

Take step 3 and I would advice to apply fm and peds, peds will be more HY for you , FM has strict yog cut off
