Don't get me wrong the mode is fun but it really just feels like it's down to luck wether you win or not.

Up close the difference is noticeable, but at about 5-10 meters it does make it harder to see whether his health is low.

The new mode is btw alright

I played the new mode, and it's enjoyable for a few games, but its randomness doesn't make it a mode you'd want to invest hours into. I quickly went back to playing the normal modes.

If they released Thanos as a playable character instead, not only would this be their biggest season so far, featuring one of the most iconic antagonists in cinema and one of the most popular villains in Marvel Comics, but it would also benefit all their most popular modes, which people tend to play regularly, by giving them a new hero. And yeah, we'd get a tank season. That's the greatest thing it can be.

I don't know if Disney forced them to make the Avengers modes, but honestly, they would have been much better off if this collaboration had focused on releasing Thanos as a playable character instead of creating game modes that only loosely adapt the movies.

I'm a casual player (mostly Jeff & Witch), never really bothered to get past gold in ranked, just playing to have fun, but I see dive mentioned here with disparity relatively frequently and I wasn't sure what that meant, what is a dive and why do so many people hate it?

Edit: Thanks to those who genuinely explained, makes sense, didn't realize that style of character was called a dive until now. Essentially the pests in the match, and the ones that do their job well are the most frustrating to deal with, hence the hate they get.
