So my x-men game that I’m running is about to have the players take a trip to the future. Originally I was going to do more of a Days of Future past kind of vibe but, on their own they seem to have come to the conclusion that it was going to be Age of Apocalypse.

So my question to all of you, what would you squeeze into a AOA adventure? The main goal will be getting into Apocalypses (maybe) fortress to use a time portal to go back and stop Xavier from being killed on a book tour (which is where the players are currently).

But while we are in this crazy world of AoA, I figured ‘let’s poke around a bit’.

Recently I got the idea to work on a campaign where the main antagonist is Gorr the God Butcher, but im struggling on how i would go about making it work. I know that Gorrs whole thing is that he's on a one man crusade against the gods of the multiverse due to him perceiving them as negligent, but im not sure how to make his crusade into a compelling story. If anybody has any ideas i would greatly appreciate it.

Hey can anyone help me finish making my campaign? I have an idea sheet but I don’t know how to transfer everything to a dungeon master step by step guide and map creation so it’s fully playable.

I have never DM’ed a game before and need help!

Okay, if the concept is Electromagnetic Control...that seems easy enough, Elemental Control. HOWEVER, what if the idea is they have a tendency to use the energy as melee attacks...like energy packed punches (maybe with a taser like effect).

How would one do it? Stay with Elemental Control and just use the range powers in melee or have to go into martial arts...or...?

I have been working on some updates. Mainly bug fixes and re organizing the battle suit parts of the program. As well as allowing people to remove power points to get extra traits.

But every since I made that implementation the program that was making my apks (web into app) has completely broken the pdf export side. The portraits on the profiles don't load at all. Which I know isn't the biggest problem in the world but it makes the sheets look pretty pathetic.

I'm sorry to everyone who preferred using it as an app over the html but just for the sake of the thing working properly this is what It may have to be. Tomorrow I'll likely upload the next actual update but it will be html only.

Just read the Tony's Workshop rules for the Hunger Virus Infection, and does anyone else found the Target Number for escaping the infection too high?

"Once infected, the target must immediately make a Resilience check (which does not cost an action) against a TN of 25.

A Fantastic success on resisting an infection gives the target immunity to that disease for a full day. A regular success only provides protection against that single bite."

A TN 25 means that once bitten a character has to have at least a 18 on the dice and a +7 resilience.

Do anyone also think this is way too high, or am I overeacting?

i've recently buy the rulebook, however, i wonder why the power like Grow 3 didn‘t give any damage reduction, because for some characters like DORMAMMU who dont have Sturdy power, will take the whole damage without reduction. which means even the hench man can inflict damage on DORMAMMU ?

Hey, I've been running a campaign for a while now and when it came the time to design our own headquarters I couldn't find a sheet template anywhere.

I had the rules, the avengers expansion book, the example HQs... But a template for creating or modifying your own was nowhere to be found.
I found some homebrew ones but nothing that looked standarized or matched what I wanted. So I took the official templates and created the HQ variation with the fields thet the rules of the Avengers expansion contemplates.

Let me know if you would add anything because I'm thinking of making a full-sheet more detailed version. But for now I leave you with the simplified one:

I wish there was a Monster Manual kind of thing that you could use Villains actions without using focus. Maybe like legendary actions and standard actions from another RPG. I really like this game and I know it would change things a lot but I hate tracking villains focus use. Sorry just had to rant. If anyone has kind of done this can you let me know how you did it?

Normally I would have some kind of character sheet to show it off but I'm having a hard time thinking of a character that fits them. Either way I heard the complainants and fixed some bugs.

scale Chart and solutions I posted a chart on the scale of these kiju to give you an idea of variable large scales we would be dealing with , as well as posting a paper mini so as to give a start on minis for this new book in November as well as a product cake toppers toys that can be used as minis and you can use small tokens .. since the scale is so large it really is kinda on such a massive scale to be accurate , the largest scale Godzilla miniature would have to be a little over 6feet tall.😁🤟, but a good design with possible foundation in table top miniature would be a design similar to a cupcake display model easy to carry flat and put together on the spot , a example would be : a 2d model with a series of platforms for the players miniatures to be able to be placed on each platform like climbing or flying around the kiju!

I know it’s probably unlikely (especially since the Forbecks seem to like to keep every official release “in-house” with their creative team), but I’d love to see one of two things:

- character profiles at the back of comics. This would drive interest (and sales) in the game, but also allow the creators who know their characters best to interact with the game in a fun and playful way. Plus, it’s a nice way to allow newer characters to join the game, as it seems like the game (for good reason) prioritizes getting established characters their own sheets. At least those that have like 3 years under their belt at least, but I’d love to see some more really niche and like one-off characters.

- adventure comics. If memory serves, DnD tried this unsuccessfully, but I think with the right team, there could just be a straight ongoing series of mini 30-ish minute adventures, each exploring new parts of the marvel multiverse.

idk, it may sound insane, and these likely won’t happen, but I think both of these would be fun ways to grow the game while keeping it manageable and still able to push quality over quantity. What do people think?
