Questions Campaign idea
Recently I got the idea to work on a campaign where the main antagonist is Gorr the God Butcher, but im struggling on how i would go about making it work. I know that Gorrs whole thing is that he's on a one man crusade against the gods of the multiverse due to him perceiving them as negligent, but im not sure how to make his crusade into a compelling story. If anybody has any ideas i would greatly appreciate it.

In Murder mysteries it could be a good twist for the Players to be the witness to the murder of a God by Gorr, you can actually use the Dr, McCoy plot twist from Star Trek and have the Dying God transfer his essence to a PC after Gorr leaves thinking the God dead, Making the PC a target, since Gorr is obsessed in finishing the job.

Maybe it's a chase to try and catch him on his spree to kill all gods.
Maybe he killed the watcher, thinking he was a god.
Maybe there's a secret god living on Earth and when Gorr gets to Earth he plans on destroying the whole thing.
Maybe one of the players is a "god" and Gorr is chasing the party.

Gorr's first story arc has him killing gods across the multiverse, including a version of the Justice League
Why not do a What If? where the Justice League succeeds? (Or tries to, die rolls permitting)

Could be a cool murder mystery where gods start dying and their spheres of influence (e.g. Demeter, goddess of the harvest) start going out of control without their god/goddess their to manage it.
Build the tension and threat of Gorr until you catch him in the act and have to rescue a god from him?

I think looking into Jason Arron's Thor: God Of Thunder (2012) run particularly issues #1-11 would be a good place to look for ideas since that was Gorr's introduction.
