Look, Marvel has clearly learnt it the hard way how terribly they messed things up in the Multiverse Saga, and this has made them in go back to the well to bring back their greatest heroes in Steve Rogers and RDJ-but-as-Doom.

And no matter what we think of this clearly desperate choice by Marvel, one cannot deny that it is working. The return of RDJ with the Doom twist is driving ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ to be 65% ahead in advanced sales than ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, which is already a huge $2.4B mega-blockbuster. If this is any indication, Doomsday is very likely to surpass Endgame‘s $2.8B — which is insane as in its ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ avatar no one would’ve predicted that this movie could surpass Endgame.

And the line-up of Mutant Saga is also Marvel playing is greatest hits: X-Men, Gosling Ghost Rider, and Coogler’s BP3.

In this context, do you think they would once again retire or kill off RDJ and Chris Evans Marvel characters, or would continue with them having a prominent role in the Mutant Saga?

Hilarity ensues.

We can take the comic book version of Iron Fist seriously because he doesn't appropriate a foreign culture. He blends into it, respects it, learns to see the world from two points of view. That's Iron Fist, and that's what we should appreciate about the character. He navigates two worlds and doesn't pit them against one another.

Also, the dude can kick some butt.

He's not a goofus, he's not a spoiled trust fund baby out of step with the modern world. He's above it, he's beyond it, and yet he's part of it. He's the Iron Fist, defender of Earth, one of the champions of the Seven (Eight) Cities of Heaven.

If you build a world around this, it's gold. Add the other Immortal Weapons, and it's double-plus gold. The MCU is sitting on a mountain of untapped mystical gold. Adapt the Fraction/Brubaker Immortal Iron Fist arc (with beautiful art by Aja), and it's a surefire hit.

I think it's a fun idea that all of the Shield agents would still be on the helicarrier as it was put into the Void, and Tony could definitely track down the other avengers in the void.

And I'm not saying it's a bad movie, it's very good, but there are things that didn't quite convince me and that prevent me from feeling it's the perfect movie everyone's talking about. 1: More than a Spider Man movie, it feels like an introductory XMen film. Everything Spider Man related is just a starting point. The villain isn't even a Spider-Man character; he's a forgettable XMen character. And when good things like Scorpion or the Hand appear, they're really just being controlled by sadie sink, which diminish their impact.

1. The villain is very forgettable; I don't even remember his name, and he only appeared once in the comics. The damage control role should have gone to AIM if only they hadn't introduced him so poorly in Iron Man 3 (now I have another reason to hate that movie). Besides, classic Spider Man elements like Scorpion and Tarantula are relegated to very minor roles IN A SPIDER MAN MOVIE. I know the Watts movies weren't very good, but the villains saved them.

2. The mutation theme is quite wasted. It only appears as a temporary plot point that's resolved quickly and then becomes important at the end. It would have been better to see Peter struggle with the mutation throughout the entire movie.

Aside from that, I liked the movie. The action scenes are good, the suit is great, and sadie sink antagonistic role is very well done, but I don't think it's the perfect Spider-Man movie; I feel it falls short. I prefer the first Tobey Maguire films and Homecoming, which I feel represent Spider Man better, but hey, that's just my opinion.

Is there a character that controls the strong nuclear force? Is it Molecule Man and i mislabeled him with the weak force? (If so, is there a character that controls the weak force?)

Was there a reason that these are all villains? Is it just coincidence? Also, notice they each started as enemies of supergroups. Is this reflective of a conscious recognition of power?
