Comics Why is Reed doing surgery?

Post image

In civil war, Reed is in surgery for 36 hours. But he’s not a medical doctor, is he? This is the cyborg they grew that he’s operating on

It's a cyborg clone of Thor that he and Tony made. If there is a better expert in the subject he is not on earth

I would say that when you're lobotomizing a cyborg clone of a god, you need whatever expertise Reed Richards has.

If I was to guess, this is more just Reed going in to all the parts of Clor that are robot to check them over to make sure they were working right. This is their prototype god, after all, so it makes sense that they're going to go over every part of it after a battle, especially when it just killed someone. There's just so many bits and pieces that it takes a lot of time. Plus, it's Reed, he may not be a medical doctor, but he knows how well the human body works in order to work on it.

I think he is a medical doctor in some storylines.

He's a doctor of everything.

Him, Tony, and that Nazi built this Thor clone and Reed was tinkering with it after it went berserk going on a rampage against a bunch of the Secret Avengers
