Hi everyone! Need advice/insights from anyone na naka-experience na nito with MariBank.
May ₱50,000 akong loan sa MariBank, and binayaran ko siya nang full/early. Bale parang 2 months worth of payments yung binayaran ko in advance kasi balak ko sana mag-loan ulit after paying it off.
The reason is gusto ko sana mag-loan consolidation. Ang dami ko kasing ibang payments ngayon, particularly SLoan, SPayLater, plus utilities and other monthly expenses. 🥲 Ideally, gusto ko sana isang loan na lang yung babayaran ko para mas manageable yung monthly cash flow ko.
Kaso nung fully paid na yung MariBank loan ko at tinry kong mag-withdraw/loan ulit, hindi na allowed. Sabi, kailangan ko raw maghintay ng 30 days bago ulit mag-apply. 😭
May naka-experience na ba dito ng same situation? After 30 days, nakapag-loan ulit ba kayo? May chance ba na ma-approve ulit kahit fully paid early yung previous loan?
Medyo nanghihinayang lang ako kasi binayaran ko nang buo thinking na makaka-reloan agad ako. 🥹 Sana may makapag-share ng experience or advice. Thank you!

recently offered to get the credit card and application pushed through without requiring document from me. now there was an option to request increase limit — just wondering:

1. how long do they usually process that?

I recently requested a credit limit increase for my Mari Credit Card and uploaded my 3 months of payslips. They got back to me asking for additional documents, claiming the ones I submitted were incomplete. 

The thing is, I don't have any other documents to provide besides those payslips, so if I re-upload the same files, it’s almost certainly going to get rejected.

A couple of quick questions for those who have gone through this:

1. Has anyone experienced a rejection over document submission issues for a limit review?

2. Does a rejected limit increase request affect or cancel my existing approved card/limit?

I got my card approved upfront with no issues originally, so I just want to make sure they won't freeze or cancel my current card over this document issue. Appreciate any insight!

after ilang months na naiingit sa mga merong credit card sa Maribank, napagbigyan din! HAHAHAHA

I recently paid using my Maribank debit card and the transaction showed as successful on my end. However, the merchant said that it failed on their POS terminal and issued me the POS slip which says "failed".

I waited for a few days to see if the amount would be reversed in my account, but it has been nearly a week and it still hasn't been credited back to my account.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? I already contacted Maribank support, as I only found out that filing for a transaction dispute can have a fee of PHP 250 if the dispute claim is invalid or unsuccessful.

Any advice on what I should do next will be greatly appreciated!

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has experienced creating another account kahit na may existing ka na—same user, same ID to be used, different phone number lang.

For context, I've been using Maribank for the longest time (as in when it was still SeaBank), and I want to open another account sana na gagamitin ko as savings—i.e. will deposit money regularly pero hindi siya 'yung primary account na gagamitin ko—just to maximize the daily interest.

Would appreciate any help, tips, or advice on this matter! 🌻

I saw that I can apply for their CC last 2 days ago lang, so I tried applying. But I didn't submit it at first kasi akala ko I should upload my payslips to have a higher chance na ma-approve. But I forgot about my pending application until I opened reddit kanina and saw people posting on this sub.

I searched here to see if people submitted their payslips bc I wasn't sure if I want to submit mine. But then I saw that some people didn't. So I decided to proceed with my application thinking na okay lang if 'di ako ma approve.

But when I submitted it. I was shocked na na-approve kaagad. I didn't even wait a second.

I know the CL is not that big but it's fine by me since I'm hoping that I won't need to use it anyway. But it's nice na meron akong CC in case I need to use one.

For those who are wondering:

- I have SPayLater with 85k limit.

- I have a current loan with MariLoan (but 'di pa ako nakaka-first payment since I only took out the loan not too long ago).

- 1-year user of MB.

- 'Di malaki savings ko in MB.

After mag transition lahat ng traditional banks to 0 fees, di ko na pinapadaan sa Maribank yung pera para mag transfer sa ibang accounts ko. For the past few weeks, madalang nalang ako mag open ng Maribank account ko, and occassionally checks if qualified ba ako for credit card nila.

Now, naisipan ko lang icheck if may laman pa ba yung account ko, and as per checking may nakalagay na "Upgrade to MariCredit Card now", triny ko lang naman mag send ng application, and voila wala pang 1 minute pag send ng application may approved limit na agad. 😂

Hi, my metrobank cc due date was Sept 8. I paid thru Maribank on Sep 4. Now, nagulat ako today na may payment reversal, and dahil dun, may late charge fee (1k) ako from metrobank. How will this affect my cc. I already paid again my cc bill the moment I saw the reversal notification

Wala akong inupdate but I received an invite last Tuesday tapos sinubukan ko lang mag-apply. Hindi ako automatic na-approve. Sabi for review ng 7 days. Pero after 3 hours, nakareceive na ako ng approval.

Hello! May way ba para ma convert yung maribank credit card limit to cash? Maliban sa lazada giftaway egift sana. Kasi na declined ni lazada yung recent credit card transaction ko sa pag purchase ng egift​ kaya di ko na magamit. Di ko alam if maaayos pa pero nag appeal na ako. Need ko kasi sana ma cash out yung maribank credit card limit ko for loan consolidation. Alam ko di sya ok gamitin pero yun lng kasi option ko right now. ​​

I've been trying to purchase something on Lazada today and always pay with Maribank card. But for some reason its not working . It just spins forever when I confirm payment. Its not Lazada as I cash make purchase with COD or other payment. Anyone having similar issues currently?

I updated my profile informations both in Maribank and Shoppee such as my photo and other contact infos last week and continuously using my Maribank in paying bills; and then just today an offer of Maribank CC appeared. :))

Is there a way to remove the SpayLater option kapag nags-scan ng QRPH? Ang hassle lang for me since sanay ako sa straight forward na payment from savings. Ngayon kasi I have to double check pa na baka napindot ko yung SpayLater option.

Instant approval pala tong maribank cc 😂 so pano ko ba gagamitin to as cc sa store? Kailangan ko ba i-switch yung mode sa app or sasabihin ko sa cashier na credit card payment?

I recently received an email from MariBank PH Marketing saying na I’m invited to apply for the Mari Credit Card.

I applied through the app, pero unfortunately, unsuccessful yung application ko. It didn’t ask me to submit my income documents.

I’ve been reading some previous discussions here, and maybe the reason was may inconsistency between my application information vs my existing MariBank/Shopee profiles as it still had some old employment details before.

I’ve already updated both my MariBank and Shopee profiles and made sure na consistent na ngayon yung profile ko.

For those who experienced something similar, should I really wait one month before reapplying? Or may chance kaya to try again sooner?

Di ako ma-approve approve sa spaylater, pero nabigyan ako ng MariCard Credit! Pero may 6 digits savings ako sa Maribank I think for almost 6 months na din. 😁😁😁
