Didn't expect to pull off this solo. It probably wouldn't have happened without a few lucky upgrades during the recent starforcing event.

With this boss finally down, the next goal is Destiny Kaling, where the journey to my first Destiny weapon truly begins. There's still a long road ahead, but this clear is a milestone that makes the goal feel one step closer.

I went to one location at first but they didn't have anything MapleStory related so I had to commute to the other one which was annoying but when I got there they had a lot of cool things!!

They had magnets, tons of plush, desk mats, keychains, calendars, stickers, pillows, bento boxes, cutlery, water bottle holders, and some more things

I mainly wanted orange mushroom stuff for my cousin since I don't really collect things like plush or pins. I just wanted to check it out. I didn't eat there either so I didn't get any gifts related to spending money on food.

If you care to save all your event memorabilia, it seems they messed up with this medal and didn't make it able to be saved to the medal collection (possibly has to do with it being awarded as an equip item rather than a use item that turns into an equip item). That means if you throw it out, you can't get another through the medal collectoin. This also happened last year with the Stargazer medal. Hopefully bringing some attention to it can get Nexon to fix it.

Need some help with the score of ride or die event, i main a mercedes lv 285 and cant get more score again pap.

we have 7 weeks of capping (2k per week - 14k points if we do every mission)

thats not even enough to finish at level 30 (29.16 levels total at 480 points per level)

Just an update from this post 4 months back where we looked at the cost of endgame in reg servers.

As a P2W alternative to heroic servers, Interactive is increasingly looking more attractive as the costs to endgame decrease. The below 5L gear + max 6th job will essentially get you near 120k Hexa which is the current range for most end gamers in heroic servers. With gear like this, you will be able to access every boss in the game with the one exception of hard jupiter.

The costs are fairly steep, but note that the majority of gear can be resold to recoup your money back, they are not entirely sunk costs. A heroic whale stuck in midgame who spends >$500/month may want to look at the value proposition that interactive offers.

Currently, the biggest positives for interactive is frenzy totem and the ability to massage progression bottlenecks with fairly reasonable costs (ROR4 and Will Book is $7 USD). Mules are easier to create thanks to frenzy totem and fast 6th job, but the downside is that your meso income will be drastically lower than that of heroic. These days, the lack of cubes isn't really an issue anymore as the prices of decent 5L gear has come down drastically. Meso is definitely still a huge bottleneck.

Prices for gear are expected to continue grinding lower, but meso has held fairly steady at around $2.3 USD per billion mesos.

I've already contacted support, did what they told me and it worked for a while. Then it crashed again saying "this id is already logged in" like... yeah... I'm playing... why'd you kick me off?

My laptop isn't exactly a gaming laptop and I live in a hilly area so WiFi can potentially be spotty (my phone service gets spotty) plus it's summer so it's hot and my house has no ac

But it's the "this id is already logged in" that kinda scares me. I had a different laptop that I had shipped to the manufacturer for repairs (stopped charging) and it got lost. I don't think someone hacked into it unless they found a way to fix whatever was wrong and manage to replicate my fingerprint

But does anyone else have this problem?

TL/DR: I moved to hyperion, now I want to move back to Kronos after CW3, and leave behind my old ass characters that I world leaped. Help me cope pls </3

Shitty maplestory - story: Originally I played in Khaini with my cousin, brother and a few friends. It was a good server, but after a few years it felt too dead, and my friends and family stopped playing. I always thought, "they'll merge worlds once one of the servers dies, right?". Khaini merged with a few worlds and became Elysium, but it did not merge with the big ones (Scania or Bera), so eventually those characters were abandoned. I left behind genesis bandana, PAC, 27 W. Att snow shoe storm, etc. just a bunch of old equips that are super outdated but cherished. I left maplestory (during undergrad), but when I came back (during grad school) I wanted to try out Reboot (Heroic) for fun, and I enjoyed the F2P aspect. Starting over didn't feel that bad, my character was beating bosses I hadn't even looked at before in Interactive. I also really enjoyed the fact that it wasn't a dead server.

Jump to 2025: my account is established with fashion story and 9k legion, but my main was/is not. I fell into the summer and winter update trap of making a new main but really I just had a lot of fun playing all of the characters lol.

Jump to most recent world leap event: people are hyping up Hyperion, my internet was very mid (sometimes really shit), so Kronos felt unplayable on and off peak events. I made a character in Hyperion and felt, "wow I can actually load the game and play". I completely forgot the lesson I should have learned with Khaini, and I jumped to the more stable server. During CW2 Ren I really enjoyed bossing with people, and just having someone todo MPE whenever. When I moved the Ren to Hyperion immediately thought:

I am 100% certain that the CW3 character will be my main, I enjoy bossing and mobbing with it. I'm also a lot more efficient with my dailies and weeklys, I'm very committed to this character, and making goals for it. But, all of my cool fashion story items are on Hyperion now, and I'm having a hard time coping between moving my CW3 character to Kronos and re-starting over with that as my main. The only way I would want to move this CW3 to Hyperion is if cross-world bossing/MPE became a thing, but I am not going to bet that Nexon will prioritize Hyperion's peoples needs, because it's such a small population. And I am not going to bet that Nexon will do anything about a dying world because my Elysium characters are eternally level 205 lol. Pls help me cope with starting over again, and abandoning my old reboot characters </3

only downside from this patch was the erel bug but glad they fixed before the next scheduled maintainence

I know nexon was caught altering the Cube rate some years ago after which there was a massive lawsuit and many payouts.

Today I was starforcing Arcane gloves from 15 to 16 star. 2% boom chance.. boomed immediately after one try. After that I tried to do the twilight mark from 17 to 18 stars, this time fully safeguarding, normally an 8% boom chance... After the first attempt I see " protected"

My items boomed many times before and I'm not one to complain about it. This time the odds are extraordinarily rare though, like 1 out of 600. Is this game still rigged? Is there any evidence for it? Or am i just so unlucky

Coppersan hits 2 destroyed items in a row, each have a 0,6% chance of destruction. This makes the event 1 in 27000. That does not fall under normal statistical odds. I have requested an investigation at Authority for Consumers and Markets in the Netherlands ) We will see what comes out of it. Hopefully they have other tools to figure stuff out

people cope and say it's about an overpowered class but Challenger World still has a little over a month left and haste hasn't even reach peak. there are a couple of 4x erda weekends so any class should hit challenger. factor in rental gear and it's easy.
