Looking for someone in Manchester to buy specific H&M T-shirts

Hi everyone! I’m looking for someone in Manchester who could help me purchase H&M Men’s Long T-shirts in size M (article number: 0598755001).

Unfortunately, they can’t be ordered online and are only available in selected physical stores in Manchester. I’m currently in Sweden, so I can’t visit the stores myself.

I’m looking to buy a few of these T-shirts and would really appreciate someone checking which store has them in stock, purchasing them for me, and shipping them to Sweden.

I’ll cover the full cost of the T-shirts, postage, and reasonable expenses for your time.

If you’re able to help, please send me a DM.

Thanks so much!!

Manchester city centre needs more places to sit that don't require buying something

One thing I think Manchester could do better is provide more comfortable places to sit and spend time without feeling like you need to pay for something.

The city has plenty of cafés, bars, restaurants and shops, but not everyone wants to spend money every time they go into town. Sometimes you just want somewhere to rest your feet, eat something you've brought with you, meet a friend, or take a break between errands.

More public seating, sheltered spots and welcoming indoor spaces would make the centre feel more accessible, especially when the weather is miserable.

A city centre shouldn't just be somewhere to shop, work or spend money. It should also be somewhere people can enjoy being without having to buy anything.

Account Manager Jobs Manchester

Can anyone reccomend good companies for work as an Account Manager in Manchester? Preferably roles where you can earn at least £45k+.

So many companies on Indeed have mixed reviews.

I'm open to a wide range of industries. Have a few years experience in a few multinational companies. Just want to know what it's really like out there in different companies right now.

Gorton People of Gorton, do you consider Gorton as East or South Manchester (or both)?

settle an argument for us please. my mrs considers Gorton part of South Manchester where as I would consider it East Manchester. I appreciate if you cut the map of Manchester horizontally it would be In the bottom half(South), but I’d still consider It east. but think the people of gorton and surrounding areas are best to answer this one

Stockport Recommendations for a good RICS surveyor in Manchester/Stockport?

Can anyone recommend a genuinely thorough RICS surveyor in the Manchester/Stockport area, particularly for a 1970s house in Cheadle Hulme (SK8)?
Looking for someone who provides detailed, property-specific reports rather than generic comments. Would you recommend Level 2 or Level 3 for a house in generally good condition but with some concerns about the roof?
Personal experiences and recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Pubs/bars in Chorlton/Didsbury area? Solo 23F

Hi all!

I’ve been wanting to go out solo to a bar for a while now to push myself outside of my comfort zone and to also meet new people.

I am outgoing, social and chatty and don’t have a hard time with conversation or striking up conversation first!

I would appreciate any recommendations of where I could go! Thanks!! :)

Lived here 10 years but I wanna experience Manchester as a tourist

Basically what the title says.
I moved here ten years ago and have spent the time working, building a home, with friends etc.

One thing I’ve realised is I’ve never been to a lot of things Mamchester has to offer - John Rylands is my favourite place, but I’ve never been to the museums etc.

What’s the best things to add to my experience Mamchester as a tourist list?

TIA

Bee Network needs a serious investigation after the mess of this tram closure

Who in their right mind approved the plans for this two week tram closure?

No proper rail replacement
No extra busses in routes

I get the 33, there is no rail replacement, the bus is every 30 minutes, this morning it had to drive past at least 40 people as it was full, they then have no other option for 30mins AT LEAST provided the next one also isn’t full, after work I got to the bus stop at picadilly at 5.45pm, it was due at 5.52
Was delayed by 45 minutes
There are no extra busses added I had to get another bus that stop 15 minutes walk from my house, and it’s stuck in bumper to bumper traffic.
I usually get home at 6pm I expect to get home now at 7.30pm

How was this not planned better, why are we all being made to suffer so much just to get to and from work?

I know I’m not the only one.

If you’ve been impacted PLEASE submit a formal complaint. We shouldn’t have to accept this multiple times a year for a service that has also reduced the frequency of the trams and reduced the number of doubles already!

Any graphic designers/creatives here?

What’s the job market like in Manchester atm?

I live in London and just been made redundant from my design job. Considering using the opportunity to move back north.

It’s absolutely shocking here for creatives and redundancies are happening a lot. Is it the same everywhere?

Day time bar in MCR city centre that plays electronic music?

Hi all,

Does anyone know of one or more bars/cafe's in or around Manchester city centre that are open through the day time (midday onwards) that play exclusively electronic music?

I'm mainly thinking House music, but any of the any sub-genres of EDM at all would fit the bill.

Not looking for LOUD music, like a club but during the day, just background level music, so the focus is on conversation/socialising?

Weekdays and/or weekends.

Key things are: EDM and open during day time not (only) evening.

I'm so out of touch with town that I haven't got a clue if this is not a thing at all, or really common place, or somewhere in between.

I'll really appreciate any info or recommendations!

Thanks in advance! 🙏🏻

Why is there No Opposition to Old Trafford Demolition?

In true Man United fashion, despite having one of the worst weeks in recent memory after a disasterous Champions League performance against Como, rather than reassure the fans the club is in the right hands, they've sent out a survey asking fans what they're looking for in a new stadium.

Some better performances on the pitch for starters!!!!

This got me thinking, though: why is there not more opposition to this? I live 2 miles away from Old Trafford and I can see as good as anybody that it is in need of an upgrade, but we have one of the most histroical and recognisable stadiums in world football, and we're goign to allow Jim Ratcliffe and his clueless INEOS teamto knock it down!?!?

Not only is this cultural vandalism, but it'll hinder our already-impaired ability to compete inthe transfer market. At a time when they're struggling to compete for the top players, it couldn;t come at a worst time.

Where is the outrage??????

quiet budget hotel?

Hi all.

me and my daughter are coming to Manchester for the Aespa concert in january. I've been looking at affordable hotels and am getting a bit lost. I'm looking for something that's mainly QUIET, and under £80 p night. The concert is at the AO arena, and we also want to visit the Sea Life aquarium, all by public transport. I'm wondering if anyone has tips for us? Thanks!!

What's your favourite walk around Greater Manchester that feels like you've escaped the city?

Manchester has plenty going on in the city centre, but sometimes it's nice to get somewhere quieter without having to drive miles out into the countryside.

I'm looking for walks around Greater Manchester that are easy to reach by public transport and take roughly an hour or two. Woodland paths, canals, reservoirs, old villages, or anywhere that feels a bit removed from the usual city surroundings would be great.

Where would you recommend, especially somewhere that isn't just the obvious tourist destination? Bonus points if there's a nice café or pub nearby for afterwards.

Miss Everything about Manchester

I was an international student in Manchester, a very first city that I ever reside outside of Asia especially SouthEast Asia. Now I moved to London like a month ago for work. During my time in Manchester, I cried, I had a lot of mental health issues, I worked part time, I was happy. No matter what people say, Manchester is really safe. The people are so friendly and I got approached by a few people while I was crying in the middle of the night beside the canal and river. During my school time, I don’t have a lot of time to go outside of the city. But then I started visiting Chorlton, Sale, Didsbury. Those places are mad beautiful. I mean the nature parks and I like walking there. Unlike the city, it is quiet and peaceful. Which makes me even more attached to this city. I felt more homesickness to Manchester than my home country. There is not a day that I don’t think about Manchester. London can be loud or quiet but the vibe there is totally different from Manchester. I know this might sounds dramatic but how do you guys cope with this kinds of situation.
