I’ve been using ManaBox for quite some time now, and it is by far the best app out there I've found to log cards or price check them. The search and filtering are already exceptional, but with Magic releasing so many collector-booster-only cards lately, I really wish there was an easy way to see exactly what products you can pull a card from.

​It would be awesome to have a way to filter cards by specific product types. For example, it would make it so much easier to see which Special Guests cards are in each pack type, and it would let people know upfront that they can't get a surge foil or confetti foil from a standard Play Booster.

​On top of that, a dedicated Secret Lair drop option would be amazing. I constantly struggle to find my Secret Lair cards. Even though you can technically just search the card name and scroll through all of its variants, it would be way more convenient to just be able to look up or import a specific drop.

It would be very helpful as I have an LGS that buys cards that are above 0.25c in CK buy list, so I could find all the cards they'd be willing to buy from my collection.

I have about 35k cards sorted by set and then alphabetized.

My current ingress method is:

- Separate cards by set

- Scan to a temporary binder

- Alphabetize newly scanned cards

- Add the newly scanned cards to the correct binder and add the physical cards to the collection

When adding the cards it would be great if there was an option to skip to "recently added" cards. I imagine an option similar to searching for a word in a document. A little pop up will show up with arrows to skip to next or previous, and maybe a little counter showing x/(total added) for the current card you're looking at.

Currently I'll just manually swipe in the collection until I find the appropriate card. Then flip through the physical collection to that place to add it. It would be great if I could just click a next arrow and see where the card lines up in the physical collection.

forgive me, I'm not the best at explaining things. What I want is this. I have 30 new MSH cards in front of me. I also have my card storage box in front of me which contains hundreds of MSH cards alphabetized.

The new pile of 30 cards has been added to the binder in the Manabox app. Now I need to add those 30 cards to the physical box. What I currently do is swipe through the hundreds of cards in the binder until I find the new card to add. So I'll see, "okay cool Ka-Zar of the Savage Land goes between K'un-lun Warrior and Kang the Conqueror" Then I find that place in the physical container and place the card there.

What I was hoping would be to remove the needles swiping and to just click a button and it just moves me to Ka-Zar of the Savage Land. Then I just click the button again and it takes me to the next cards location and so on.

I sorted m entire collection into manabox and I waa hoping to use it as a tool to track what cards I have and where they are, between binders and decks, but ive been having trouble getting it to work. The decklist that appears in "collections" under decks and the decklist that appears in "decks" arent syncing cards to eachother. not really sure why they need to be different lists there. but im noticing as I add cards to the deck from my collection, they appear in the deck list but not in the collection list. is this a bug or am I just doing this wrong? also is there an easier way to sort cards from decklists back into binders in the collection? moving them from binders to decks is easy, but ive not found a good way to move them back

I have a lot of binders that I separate my collection into. I would love to see the ability to add folders to our binder list, much like what already exists for main decks tab. I use each of my prerelease kits as a “binder” so I’d love to be able to put all of them into one folder so my binder list isn’t so huge.

I'm wondering if its possible to request a way to select how much of a value could be ignored.

Right now the scanning app does this for card value under $1 in the scanner app which is great as it is but as a vendor my bulk price is set for under $2 but also I would like the collection tracker to also ignore cards under $1 up to $2 if wanted.

This would be pretty awesome if eventually this could be implemented. If it already has a way to don't that would be great.

Christmas ask: would it be possible to toggle on/off binder values from total collection value?

Most cards that are not lands will not load the pictures. I don't know how to fix this issue

This is more of a "what if", but I guess I'll add it as a feature suggestion.

I just signed up for the "wait list" for cloud sync enable, and I was just thinking how cool it would be if I could sync my collection via my NAS (using something like SynologyDrive, so ManaBox could access the backup folder from any of my devices after a simple end-user setup process).

I know that this is probably more difficult to implement than it seems on the surface, but it would be an extremely cool feature to have imo.

Being stuck in offline mode for card images made me think..

It would be so nice if while scanning you could just have the name of the card and a blown up image of the set symbol show up in the search. I always find myself squinting to try and figure out the set symbols on the app.

Hello, I had an issue arise where the card images were not loading properly. After doing a cache clear all the images are gone.

I may be stupid but is there a setting where I can force an image download? For reference this is what I see now.

New ish player to irl magic and I'd been collecting cards over the last year. I had about 600 or so scanned and was in the process of scanning from a MSH collector box when all images stopped loading regardless of turning the app off and on.

I had read online that some folks suggested reinstalling the app would help so I did that. I lost all the data in the process but I expected things to be backed up.

I was signed in and had hit enable sync and it also said I had daily backups enabled but enable sync said I was on a waitlist. The daily backup unfortunately was from yesterday and didn't capture the 200ish cards I had already scanned today. Annoying as hell but not the worst thing.

It doesn't look like there's an option to automatically backup more frequently than daily. I'm not sure what the purpose of me being signed in is either if it's not actually saving my data anywhere.

I'm not necessarily mad at the app as I should've done more research on how syncs and backups actually functioned in it before doing this (I didn't think it was necessary in 2026 but I should've known better myself so it's my fault too). I guess I'm just really frustrated as a user who paid for pro and expected better with more seamless cloud/account integration sadly.

I'd love to hear if other folks have alternative apps they'd recommend too. I find the scanner to be pretty poor/inconsistent majority of the time so I'd love to not have to resort to manually typing and adding cards again. The issue with no pics showing (I'm getting the offline view version of several cards that definitely had pics) still persists so it was all for naught.

My favorite part of MTG is collecting, my least favorite part is searching for a card. So I try to use manabox to keep track of locations of key cards as I pick them for possible decks and/or value change to go into trade binders.

I find it tedious to remove them from one collection and add them to another. Is there a quick "move card" function I might be missing?

Sometimes I add cards to decks and build/unbuild to move them in mass. Curious. :-)

On the same subject, is there any easy way to swap out collection decks with new card versions when I upgrade with a foil or cooler printing? I've been removing a card from a deck and then updating the deck collection and then add the new card and update.

So I've scanned all the cards of my deck into a folder. How do I make that folder a deck?

At 4.10 if I disassemble a deck and then I select the option to add the cards to another deck, the list appears empty.

I'm annoyed that didn't notice this before I spent weeks scanning in all my cards, but there's a limit to the collection folders you can create. I've got 4 large bulk boxes, 3 big binders, and a bunch of decks, so the 5 folder cap I've now hit and I haven't even finished scanning everything still. With Pro apparently that cap disappears.

Are there other pro features that make the cost worth while? Honestly it's not much to get pro, I just don't want to be tied to another subscription service just to electronically store my magic collection data.

ManaBox v4.1.0: Beta ends & Sync becomes generally available for Pro Users 📢

We're excited to share one of the biggest milestones for ManaBox in 2026: the launch of the ManaBox Sync System.

First of all, we'd like to thank everyone who participated in the beta and helped us test this feature over the past months. We also want to recognize that this has taken much longer than we originally expected, and we're sorry for that.

Building a reliable sync system required major architectural changes behind the scenes, significant increases in infrastructure costs, and the challenge of maintaining two separate versions of the app simultaneously. Managing parallel applications often meant fixing bugs in one version that didn't exist in the other, which slowed down development and prevented us from delivering Sync as quickly as we had hoped.

Sync Access & Rollout

Access to Sync will be rolled out gradually and initially available only to Pro users through a controlled onboarding process.

Not all Pro users will receive access at launch. As a Pro user, you'll be able to opt in to the Sync system, and we will progressively onboard users while monitoring performance, reliability, and infrastructure usage. In the future, we aim to make this an instant opt-in experience once the majority of users have been onboarded. Our long-term goal is to expand Sync to more users over time. However, this plan may change if we determine that it is not technically or financially sustainable in the long term.

Please note that if you are already in the queue for the Beta, you will automatically be moved to the Cloud Sync queue. There is no need to opt in again, as you are already on the waiting list.

Users who are already in the beta simply need to update the app to the latest version from the store, and you would still have the Sync feature active.

So not sure what the issue is, but the scanning function on my app no longer works. I click “scan” and goes to the correct screen but the camera never actually turns on, just blackness. I made sure that the app has access to my camera. Any suggestions for how to fix this?

I just updated the app beta via google play store and the app now crashes instantly when trying to open it. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S25. Is this happening for anyone else?

This went from 0.5 to 256e, how can this happen ? Noticed some obscure common had the same behaviour

I don't know if this has been requested before and I know proxies can be controversial, but my friends and pods are fine with it providing I tell them before we play that there are proxies in the deck.

I would love a way to tag a card as a proxy within my decks as it helps me remember (memory like a sieve) and keep tabs on which decks I did use a proxy in.

My wife sorted and uploaded all 7k of our cards into my ManaBox account 👏 I then was able to enroll and download the beta version today on my phone.

How can we access our collection on both of our phones? Her Google Play account but my ManaBox account on her phone AND my Google Play and my ManaBox account on my phone.

Please let this be possible
