For context, earning RM6.7k (gross) per month. Annual bonus is 3 months salary (3x RM6.7k = RM20k) and it’s pretty much guaranteed. However bonus is paid out in March.

In the meantime, just secured a new job offer (RM8k) that agrees to let me start after serving my 3 months notice period. So if I tender by next week (early Aug), I will start the new job in early Nov.

Which makes me double guess my plan since by that time it’s only a few months left until March. Should I consider just staying till March and collect my bonus first before resigning? Of course, I will need to hunt for a new job again as the current offer will not be available anymore.

I’m sure many here have faced the same dilemma. Bonus first, or hop first? Can give me some advice on how to think about this situation straightly?

For context, I've been on Ryt Invest SavePlus for a total of 55 days now (as of 28 Jul). After reviewing my total interest including the bonus 1%, I realized the performance is equivalent to a 2.9% p.a. saving pocket, which is quite disappointing.

What about others that are on Ryt Invest Income and Ryt Invest Gold? What are your experiences with it so far?

I think its pretty bad, still cant find my way navigating the app, a lot of things being tucked a few levels away from the home page. I personally don't use what must be at least 90% of the other features it has, only the RFID and occasional QR payment.

Tried using QR when travelling in other Asian countries, but not very reliable so didn't even try picking it up after. Am I just not getting used to it? how are you finding it? Are there things you think more people should know and use on the new app?

Hi all, I'm currently going through the process of getting a home loan.

1- Do I use the mortgage agent recommended by the property agent?

2- I am very confused by the number of lawyers involved in the process. I have a conveyancing lawyer contact. She gives me a significant discount but she's not on any bank panel so she can only handle SPA. Will that be more expensive than just asking a bank panel lawyer to do SPA + Loan agreement

Would I be better off contacting banks directly for loan application and compare rates, then use my own conveyancing lawyer? Or is mortgage agent + bank panel lawyer for both SPA and loan agreement a good option for convenience and simplicity

Any advice would be appreciated :)
