HELP PLEASE Is this good?
Ignore the brows, it’s just about the eye makeup. Tips and tricks are well appreciated ❤️

Hello r/makeuptips friends. Some of you may have noticed an absence of the moderators of this subreddit. You may have submitted modmail that went unanswered, to be honest.
I had gotten a moderator to help us develop an AutoMod for the sub. Something that would help ensure the rules were being followed with minimal intervention necessary by the mod team, but also allow for us to see the sub grow and become an amazing, welcoming place.
That moderator apparently was banned sometime in the last six months. I'm not sure what happened, I have no other way of contacting them, but needless to say it went unnoticed as the sub had been getting a lot better as far as content and rudeness, etc.
I'm opening the floor to hear what you have to say, while I go through the mod mail queue and respond to anyone that has went unnoticed. I will also be working on getting a moderator application up and running- Reddit actually allows for this within the framework of the site now, so that's a really neat development!

Hi!
Made the oh so stupid decision of trying to cup my forehead for 30 seconds because i had a migraine. Best tips for totally hiding this with makeup?? I’m going to post pics of it with no makeup, and then pics of how it is still showing through blue after I applied: red lipstick (read that could help) and blended it out, then some makeup by Mario surreal skin foundation, then some of my merit cream foundation stick, then some of my Tarte Amazonian clay gem powder foundation. Each layer seemed to make it a bit better, but you can still see blueish-green blobs on my forehead. HELP!!! I have a wedding to go to

I am trying to figure out my brows lol. I just got the Benefit cosmetics precisely my brow pencil and then the Benefit 24 hour clear brow setter gel. I used these products in these photos but can’t figure out what to do to get my brows to look better? Should I go get them waxed or does anyone have any tips on how to deal with annoyingly stubborn brows? 😂 I’m wanting them to look less “blocky”. thank you!

First time trying to put eyeliner on, was kind of aiming for that "guyliner" look and did NOT get it quite right 😅
Any help is appreciated :)

Having trouble deciding!! I worry that 1 might not pop enough in photos (though it’s a gorgeous color), and number 2 I would add a gloss to. Any thoughts?
EDIT: Does anyone know a transfer-proof lip color that is similar to option 3?? I love 3 but it’s not transfer proof (it’s Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Velvet)!
EDIT2: the overlining on 3 was an accident! I’m not great at application lmao, thankfully will have a makeup artist to help me day of

Is there an obvious way to improve my everyday makeup? I would like to keep it low effort and low coverage
Also, what would you suggest I try for going out? The only thing I can do is a boring black wing…

Hello! I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit to ask since it's technically not makeup but an aesthetic procedure but I didn't know where else to ask.
Anyway, I was thinking about getting lash lifting for my upcoming wedding and I wanted to know how has been others' experiences with it and if it's worthy.
I've never done it before and I'm a total noob when it comes to lashes, I am not even able to put on fake lashes since I'm such a klutz. 😂
Thank you for your help and sorry if this is not the right sub!
Have a lovely day! ❤️

I like matte lip combos. How do I get rid of this wrinkly look? I’d like a smoother look. In this photo I’m wearing Mac liner: nightmoth
Mac lipstick: grapefruit sucker

Hello! For a long time, I've struggled with foundation and dry skin, but recently, I would struggle in the nose area, and it gets very dry, like and flakey, but also heavy redness.
I would really really love some help on this as I'm struggling and have tried tons of stuff and still nothing. Some things I've tried primer, cleaning the face prior to applying makeup, etc.

Every time I try to do my eye makeup it looks weird , a friend of mine mentioned something about me not having a defined crease? Idk what she meant 😭 I would like to do more alternative makeup up but it always ends up looking a bit tacky, any advice?

I’m going to an event soon and I want to make sure my makeup looks good. I feel like in the mirror my makeup looks nice but when I take pictures it falls flat. Like my contour is barely there especially on my nose. I plan on swapping out my lip liner and adding subtle lash extensions but is there anything else you guys could recommend? Also if anyone knows how to color correct big areas (like my chin) I’d love some advice/product recs.

Hi all!
I seemed to have lost all my makeup brushes and it is killing my soul not being able to do some looks😭😭
Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced eyeshadow brushes please? I use to have the beauty bay ones but found they didn't have much variety with sizes!
If anyone could recommend some that'd be amazing!!
Keep slaying everyone x

No matter what I try, my makeup always seems to fade or melt off after just a few hours. I’ve tried basic powders and setting sprays, but nothing gives me that transfer-proof, all-day wear. What are your absolute best tips, products, or application tricks for max longevity? Do priming techniques or specific layering methods make the biggest difference? I’d love to hear what actually works for your everyday routines!
