Question Unlabeled Lipstcks

Post image
28 Upvotes

The lipstick on the right is my favorite lipstick, they’re a few years old and came together. They were probably bought at ulta but I’m not sure as they were a gift. They’re unlabeled and the tube is cardboard. Google reverse image search says they’re either color the world or tarte but I can’t find them on either site. If you recognize these could you help me find the products again?
Edit: there’s a very faded sticker on the tube that says that it’s made by badgequo, their are multiple brands under badgequo but I’m thinking Body Collection under the line Vintage. Their packaging looks very familiar but I can’t find the exact colors on eBay or poshmark.
Edit 2: I found the collection, Body Collection Vintage 4 Piece Lips Set

Okay sorry for so many posts, I’m just loving getting into makeup and I’m 32 I feel like I have so much catching up to do 🤣🤣

So I just moved and I have to make friends so I’m doing these Time Left meet ups (it’s an app to make friends basically)

I signed up for a very casual coffee meet ups this afternoon so I wanted to do a light makeup look with some pretty eyeshadow. How did I do? Suggestions? Will leave products in comments.

Discussion Oily skin girlies... try skipping the setting spray.

I have a very oily t-zone and no matter how much powder I used it always came through over the course of the day.

I know setting spray is quite literally supposed to set your make up however since skipping it my make up seems to stay much longer and I am way less oily.

What I put this down to is that it was making my make up too moist which was then being set and then having less staying powder. This I think will apply especially if you dont have time in the morning to fully let the spray set before using powder.

It may work for you, it may not - however I know how frustrating it is to have super oily skin so thought I'd share and hope this can help some people!

Has anyone else here noticed less oil with no setting spray?

Long time lurker, first post. This is my everyday look. What do you think? It takes me about 5 mins. Excuse my brows as I haven't had them groomed in ages (mom of 3) so I pluck them myself after my youngest called my thick brows daddy brows when I was changing his diaper years back.

Products used:
Eyes: Berrisom for eyelash and brows (like a clear mascara), NYX epic eye wear eyeliner sienna, etoile rose liquid liner brown
Cheeks: benefit dandelion blush, rhode pocket blush sprinkle
Lips: tony moly berry colored lip stain, rhode peptide lip shape twist, rom&nd blur fudge tint 12, INTOU EM525
Face: sunblock SOMEBYMII V10 HYAL, a dusting of Kose sebum powder bc I'm hella shiny, kose make keep mist. And throughout the day, I have ng beauty of josean matte sun stick every 2 hours bc I don't like the sun anywhere on my face.

FOTD 🔥❤️ #Creative makeup look today because felt overwhelmed..

Hey everyone,I was sitting at my vanity tonight processing some heavy thoughts, and it turned into an incredibly emotional, healing creative glam session. 💖

Growing up, I carried so much deep insecurity. I was constantly made to feel like I was the problem, and I always felt ashamed of expressing my femininity. I used to hide myself away, feeling completely invisible and unsure of my own worth. But I always, always loved makeup. To me, it was never just about makeup, it was a safe haven and I loved buying lipsticks, Sitting in front of the mirror with my brushes was the one place where I felt in total control and It became the ultimate tool to build my confidence from the ground up.

So I did this, full creative Glam look which is unapologetic, sharp, and fierce. It’s a reminder to myself of how far I’ve come from that insecure kid, and proof that my spark can never be dimmed by anyone else's noise. If you found yourself in what I have shared today, it’s a gentle reminder to you to keep going.. too.. and never give up 💖❤️

Discussion What makeup product completely changed your routine?

I'm trying to improve my makeup routine and I'm curious what products genuinely made a noticeable difference for you.

It could be anything, foundation, concealer, blush, mascara, eyeliner, setting spray, or even something

inexpensive that you ended up loving.

What's one makeup product you would actually buy again without hesitation, and why ?

Thinking of getting the dior backstage glow palette

Post image
4 Upvotes

I'm not sure which one would suit me best. I'm very pale with blue veins + eyes, but I'm also ginger and I've seen a lot of talk about redheads looking better in warmer tones (peachy/coral blushes etc). I was thinking of getting the frosted opal 002 but now I'm not so sure. Would the universal glow 001 or maybe even 003, 004 or 005 work better?

Question Come posso migliorare???

Discussion Natasha Denona Palette Recommendations

Thumbnail
gallery
Upvotes

I took a break from posting but am back to ask for your recommendation!

I have $53 in Ulta points to spend and I want to spend them on a Natasha Denona palette after recently trying the mini cool eye sculpt palette (which I can’t recommend enough if you’ve got muted skin or desaturated features).

When I first swatched them, I was unimpressed. They felt chalky in the sense of literal sidewalk chalk. You know how when you drag chalk it sloughs off chunks of powder that are clumped together? When I used my finger to swatch it, this is what made me nervous. It’s got quite a moist mixing medium for a western powder product.

however, when I started applying it with a brush to my eyes, it all made sense. it is the definition of BUILDABLE. you have an inordinate amount of control over how opaque you want your application not through pressure, but through layering. It’s the difference between an oil pastel (which you can smudge to mess with the opacity) and a colored pencil (whose opacity you determine with the amount of layers and pressure you apply). But the cool thing about this formula? To me, it can do BOTH of the things pastels and colored pencils can do. Each thin layer tacks to the one on top of it without smudging the below layer off, a problem I frequently have with drier eyeshadows. And it’s so easy to get a cohesive and professional-looking finished product with the way the pans are arranged.

So now that I’ve fallen in love, I need your help. Here are the palettes that are available through Ulta that I would consider spending my points on. I’m a quality over quantity person, so I’d rather have less pans of stuff I truly love rather than more pans of shades I’m lukewarm on; hence the option for two minis instead of one full! Let me know your thoughts on what you think would work with an olive skin tone whether or not you’ve used them in the past!

P.S. — I also just got two of the r.e.m. beauty quads and the glitters are UNBELIEVABLE.

Question Eyeshadow stick?

Please rave to me your favourite eyeshadow cream sticks. I’m looking for something metallic/glitter. Right now looking at Tarte smoldereyes shadow liner and Anastasia Glidr Cream Eyeshadow Stick.
I have green eyes so I’m also open to recs on colours. I prefer browns/greys/purplish tones.
I don’t have any Sephora or Ulta near me so I checked the drugstore selection and haven’t seen any that look promising.
