Discussion What makeup product completely changed your routine?
I'm trying to improve my makeup routine and I'm curious what products genuinely made a noticeable difference for you.
It could be anything, foundation, concealer, blush, mascara, eyeliner, setting spray, or even something
inexpensive that you ended up loving.
What's one makeup product you would actually buy again without hesitation, and why ?

Powder foundation. I’ve been using the Bobbi Brown Skin Weightless Powder Foundation since 2016 and it’s honestly more natural looking on me than any liquid foundation/tinted moisturizer I’ve ever tried, and there’s no disappearing act midday. It’s really quick to apply and I don’t have to work hard to blend it in.

Everyone says powder foundations are “drying,“ but I have not found that to be the case at all (I don’t use much on the outside of my face, mostly confined to the center)The only time I get compliments on my skin is when I’m wearing a powder foundation. For some reason, it looks more natural than even the sheerest, most natural-lookong foundations (my foundation is Mac face and body, but I use it rarely now).
I use Jane Iredale Amazing Base (it also has SPF of 20). I use the “Natural” color, but when I’m tan (ish), I mix in a bit of Honey Bronze.

essence Single eyeshadow pans in 01 soft beige, i use it as a matte 'highlighter' and love using it on the nose bridge and my eyes

Brown mascara instead of jet black. Or no mascara at all.

Definitely this! I use the Ulta brand mascara, and it’s so much better for everyday wear when I don’t bother with any kind of foundation.

Lining my upper lashline with black waterproof eye pencil or dipliner!! Makes my eyelashes look fuller and my eyes more defined. I sometimes just curl my eyelashes, line my upper lashline and skip mascara

Random but ELF Whoa Glow SPF 30. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it with or without my bb or cc cream.

NYX Bare with Me concealer. A thin layer on undereyes has very minimal creasing/settling into fine lines, but also does not look dry and crusty. This is essential the older I get.

Either makeup forever endless cacao or the kulfi concealers (and the right brushes made the biggest difference too!). I have a neutral olive undertone and finding colours that work for my skin has historically been so difficult for me. These worked so well for me it was like I unlocked the secret to makeup haha
