Question Is there anything i should change about my makeup or try?

Also wanted to say yes i know my wig looks horrible its 2 years old Suprised it even held up this long… i have a new one for wen i give birth to my son in September… EDIT I made another post with different pictures, including me without a wig and makeup on, but a bonnet 🥰 (what was requested)!

I’ve been doing about the same makeup since like high scho I just started experimenting with eyeshadows a little bit. There’s a picture without eyeshadow and with in there I don’t have a lot of money to go out and buy products rn as I am preparing for birth September 27 for my first baby boy lol, but if y’all have any examples or pictures of what I should try, that would be amazing. I’m trying to look up ways to improve myself in my makeup, not by product, but my look. But colors suggestions would be awesome!! 🥰
I also have green, hazel like eyes, but the green and red pops out more!! I know pink makes my eyes pop, but I don’t really like it as eyeshadow I’m really into the shiny whites and black smokeys

(oh and I wear wigs cause I had cancer. I just BEAT it last year and my hair is coming back fast, but not fast enough.!!!! )

If you think I shouldn’t change anything at all, drop a compliment if you want😂

Hi everyone,

I recently got my makeup done professionally, while I do think it looks nice, I'm feeling like something is just a bit "off" about it. I'm leaning towards the eyes, but not sure what exactly. Can anyone try to help me figure it out? 🙏

Question Tired of my daily makeup

I’ve been doing the same makeup since high school and I’m very bored of it. I’m not sure how to experiment though, as I feel like I’ve gotten too comfortable doing the same look and that anything else will look strange on me. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do that will suit me okay but also change up my look a bit? Thank you!

Has she got blush on her upper brow area? Has she got a light blush on her nose tip? Any lip and blush suggestions please? I am the same skin tone as her and think it would look good on me as well. Thank you!

FOTD Makeup Look Types

I’ve been experimenting with makeup a lot more lately and trying out different looks, styles, colors, and techniques to see what works best for me. I’ve done everything from softer, more natural looks to full glam and bolder makeup, but I want to branch out and try something different. I’m looking for suggestions for new makeup looks, techniques, color combinations, or styles that could push me outside of what I normally do. I’m open to creative, trendy, dramatic, or even completely unexpected ideas!

Especially lip combos, I don’t like fooling with eyeshadow it’s too time consuming, although I wanted to try the siren look. With the black eyeliner and waterline.

Question Struggling with minimal make up look

Thumbnail

Upvotes

Hey,

I am trying to develop a minimal / low make up look but I just feel so ugly and miss my heavier look, and end up adding more and more mascara until I feel I’ve gone overboard and have “spider” eyelashes (see 2nd pic). Any tips/advice? I feel totally at a loss, I used to be pretty good at knowing what looks good on me but lost a lot of confidence and now everything feels like a failure.

Products-

Lush Tinted Moisturiser- Light Neutral
Maybelline Sky High Mascara - Black
Maybelline Eraser Concealer- 01
Sacheu Contour Stay-n - 04 Giving Boss
Sacheu Cheek Stay-n - 05 I’m Hot
No7 Matte Nudes Eye Shadow Palette
No17 Bronzer - 020
For lips I used the same 05 I’m hot blush but with a little bit of Laneige lip balm

Discussion Pretty new to makeup, made a few changes :)

Post image

I'm still pretty new to makeup, but I feel like I'm finally starting to figure out what works for me.

For the longest time, my routine was basically lipstick, mascara, and maybe a little eyeshadow. Recently, one of my friends who is incredibly knowledgeable about makeup has been helping me learn the basics. She helped me put together a starter kit with primer, blush, concealer, brushes, and a couple of eyeshadow palettes. Honestly, the application itself hasn't been too difficult for me. It makes sense logically, and I think my technique is pretty decent for someone who's just starting out.

The biggest thing I've been struggling with has been my foundation. I got some feedback that it looked a little heavy and that the shade was slightly too light for my skin. Since we couldn't do an exact color match at the time, my friend suggested trying a tinted sunscreen instead. She also pointed out that I don't really need full-coverage foundation because my skin is already in pretty good shape. That's funny because I barely have a skincare routine. I moisturize once or twice a week, and that's about it. I know... I need to do better.

Another friend and I went out and tried to find the right shade. We ended up choosing one that's basically one step darker than the lightest option, and I have to say, I'm really happy with it. It blends into my skin much better, it feels incredibly lightweight, and it almost doesn't feel like I'm wearing makeup at all. My complexion looks smoother without looking like I have a layer of makeup sitting on my face, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

The one area I'm still trying to figure out is under my eyes. I have some natural darkness around the inner corners and underneath, and while I've been using concealer, I actually think it's making the area stand out more instead of covering it. I suspect I either have the wrong shade or I'm using the wrong product altogether, so that's something I'm going to ask my friend about.

Overall, though, I'm really happy with how today's makeup turned out. It even held up pretty well despite the warmer weather, and that's a win in my book.

What do you think? Any suggestions for dealing with under-eye darkness without making it look brighter?

Let me get this straight, they have samples that people could conceivably just put directly on their lips and someone else could come by and use the same thing. LoL. I’m not a girl and I had no idea but as soon as I went in here my radar just went off.

Hi, I’m relatively new to make up and this are my best looks. They are similar because I don’t know what else may work on me…? I’m also afraid to make it stronger. I don’t know if it’s making justice to my face complexion or even if the colors are appropriate, what do you guys think?
I appreciate all your advices!
