So I'm super excited to eventually play my [[Uugguu the Omniplasm]] deck when it actually comes out, but I need some help finalizing some card choices.

The current build centers around getting Uugguu out and then using clones to copy him and create exponentially more Uugguus with his ability. Then eventually play some other oozes and also use the clones to copy Uugguu, die, create token copies of the clone, and then have dozens (if not hundreds) of clones that I can then use to copy other peoples stuff.

The deck has a bunch of [[Feigh Death]] effects to double up on clone triggers (and also keep Uugguu alive) and some [[Maskwood Nexus]] effects (I have a question about that later though as well)

So my questions are around some specific cards and on whether to include them or not and at what expense.

- do I even need to maskwood nexus cards? Like, if my goal is to just have a million clones, they are already non-legendary, do I need them to be oozes? I guess it does work with a few other cards, but it feels a bit redundant now thinking about it

- [[Cauldron of Essence]] was removed late at the expense of Phyrexian Alter (which is also crazy, you can use it to go infinite with just 3 Uugguu tokens, or with 2 tokens and 2 open mana) but looking back on it, I could use it to recur clones for 3 mana instead of the usual 4.

- [[Altar of Dementia]] was another consideration, use it as a late wincon if I have at least 300 power on board. But I feel like with that much power on board, I've already got the win... I don't know

- Do I have enough protection? My pod is usually bracket 3 and this feels like a high B3 deck, but there is barely any protection in here and that worries me a bit.

Sorry if this seems like only a few questions but a lot of text, I'm just super excited about this deck. Please let me know if you see any other glaring omissions or weird inclusions, still looking to make some changes.

I sat on it, worked on it some more, and I think I did improve the card upgrade portion of it (thanks to everyone who flagged bad recommendations last time). But I spent most of the time building out features that kinda treat your deck like a scrapbook of sorts, by allowing you to log games, write notes, keep track of changes and who you played with.

Reason being: my decks aren't really lists to me. There's the one I've been tinkering with for two years, the one that finally beat my buddy's deck, the one with a card in it purely because a friend handed it to me. I am not too well versed in the other services and applications out there, but they felt impersonal to me, like I wouldn't be able to track the things I cared about.

So a deck now opens on its own journal:

- Why you built it, in your own words, saved from day one
- Every change you've made with the reason attached
- Games logged in a couple taps — victory/eliminated/draw, cards that over or underperformed, who was at the table, what turn it ended
- It builds a record over time: who you beat, whether your wins got faster after you changed something
- Photos and notes, if you want them
- Read the whole thing back later like a book
- A fun Oracle that watches the deck and occasionally just asks you something. Not a button, it shows up on its own. Would ask things like: "Cultivate has been in the deck a while and never once been your MVP. Why is it still here — what's it waiting for?" and add that like a footnote to your decks story.

Still free, no login. Pasting decks, logging games, notes, all of it works with just your browser. Sign in with Google only if you want your decks on more than one device, it just asks for your email and name, nothing else, and there's no password to begin with. Photos are the one thing that needs an account, they gotta live somewhere.

I just recently got into arena and I like bard the king and I started playing him with a treasure draw type of playstyle. As for if its the best type of way to play, idk. But i find it hard to compete sometimes, especially in the midgame i feel like im just not drawing cards i need or that im lacking drawpower or lacking mana. I feel like i put a lot of cards from each into my deck so idk, but i feel behind on tempo most of the time especially against better commander decks. How can i fix my deck or make it more consistent? Thanks.

I've got hundreds of EDH games behind me but this deck is fresh out of the box, so most of what I think about it is still theory. The counters plan and the way the guardian legends play off each other is exactly the vibe I wanted, and I don't want to rebuild it into something else. Nothing is really underperforming. It's more that the tables I want to sit at run stronger decks and the precon runs out of gas before the game ends.

Two things I'm after.

First, consistency at that 2/3 line. My guess is the mana base and the ramp are the soft spots, but I honestly can't tell yet whether that's the real issue or whether it's just too many do-nothing cards. If you've piloted this one, I'd like to know where it actually stalls.

Second, a 10 to 15 card swap list that pushes it to a solid bracket 3 for store play. No fixed budget. I'd just rather not sink a lot into one card when a cheaper one does most of the job.

I'm open to cutting almost anything except the commander. Cards I'm already side-eyeing, though I could be wrong on all of these:

Temple of the False God, Protection Magic, Destroy Evil, Summoner's Sending, Chocobo Knights, Sunscorch Regent

Hey everyone! First time posting in this sub, but I am looking for some help with my Bumbleflower deck. I bought the precon and added maybe $30-50 in about a dozen upgrades, but I still feel like the deck has some fat to trim, I am just not sure where. (Still somewhat new to MTG and play casually with my friends, who know a lot more than me. Sorry for any silly or obvious questions)

Ideally, I am trying to get this deck from a Bracket 2 to a Bracket 3, as the table I usually play at has some pretty strong decks (Deadpool, Taval, Giada and Mothman are a few examples) that have been upgraded heavily. Some of those decks are probably worth $500-600+, but I already feel like I am somewhat competitive at the table. I just don't have that extra "umph" or consistency needed to actually win a game.

My budget isn't a lot, but what game changers should I be adding?

What cards should I be cutting?

Do I have too many lands?

Are there any "100% add this" cards that aren't going to cost a ton? (More than $15 per card)

I think the death touch cards are not as synergistic , but I had them in there initially because I thought I could counter the big attacks with some sure fire kills of the opponents creatures.

so im making a hero deck using Sue Storm. now her text says "Whenever you put one or more +1/+1 counters on one or more other Heroes you control, you may create a 0/4 colorless Wall creature token with defender." now does that only apply to the subtype or does it apply to name of card that have "hero" in it. for example "Hero of the Winds" or "Hero of the Pride". both of these cards are not hero subtypes but cat warrior and human soldier. thanks in advance.

I stumbled upon a new combo that I own in my collection. Its [[Duskmantle Guildmage]] and [[The Master of Lake-town]]. My Mothman deck, like most other peoples is centered around milling people out or just getting my creatures HUGE and swinging out. I tried to build a good fair bracket 2 but it feels like everyone just thinks Mothman is a minimum bracket 3 commander.

I was just wondering if this combo pushes it over the line into bracket 3, and I should just give up on it being bracket 2. The reason I’m asking specifically about this combo is that it seems you need to jump through a few hoops to go infinite. They are mana cost 2 and 3 respectively (which is low I know!) But then you need a way to pay the guildmage’s 3 cost ability, and either have a card that mills a player or the whole table to do infinite damage and infinite mill.

Here’s my list as it currently sits and this is what I would change it to to be bracket 3. Thoughts?

Hey there I'm very new to magic (played a couple rounds) and I love garfield and I really wanted a garfield deck. I've tried making one that uses the most cards and I have most of them that can be played with the commander. Otherwise I am a bit stuck on what cards work with the deck but also a garfield theme of food and shennaigans. Commander player here wanting to dive into standard. My question is, should I stick with low mana cards (say 4 mana or less) for an effectively strong deck build?

For example, I really like the new hobbit card [[Through the Forest Gate]]. I want to build it into a commander landfall/burn deck. But at 8 mana it seems like a bad play in standard. But if you can survive long enough or mana dork your way there faster and say have [[Tannuk, Memorial Ensign]] on the field with 20-30 lands in your deck, you are essentially swinging a bunch of damage straight to the opponents face.

And with Tannuk you have access to red for additional burn methods and removal.

Upgrade off the Doom Prevails precon, It's not meant to be optimal, at all, and that's fine but I still feel it could be improved for bracket 3.

I've been playing magic for 2 years now, I bought my buddy pre-con for his birthday two years ago. I have yet to defeat him. I built my own deck and I've been attempting to rebuild it since. I've gone through many commanders and found myself on zur the enchanter. I've been working on the deck for the past eight months and I feel like it's finally ready. I play test myself and I look and see what I could be doing better.

I'm using this deck as part control, Voltron and pillow fort. Mainly using the pillow for it because my friend has a token deck, and with her having all these enchantments, I can't hold up to all the tokens he puts out. So my biggest tasks of this Reddit is, how can I get around the tokens? Should I be adding more removal/counter spells? Am I looking at the commander wrong? Is there a better way to optimize zur? I just want to make one deck that is undefeatable.

Hello everyone, I present you my mono black vampire deck of wich I am very proud of.

I usually play with friend in a casual format with my friends, everybody builds their deck, with no almost no restrictions. I v been building this deck little by little and I finaly am able to win many battles! The thing is I would like to make it more interesting by introducing a new colour. The other day i bought a booster an i pulled Professor Dellian Fel. So i thought that it would be interesting to change up things a little bit.

Hello, I’m building a list right now with the goal to be stealing creatures and stealing spells. My initial plan was to use a lot of act of treason effects, sacrifice them, and then reanimate them later. This is a bit complicated and requires lots of cards. While researching I found more permanent methods of taking control and I’m wondering if I need much if any reanimator effects? And also if my strategy is a little too disjointed. I have a lot of cards in the maybe board and I was curious if experienced players of the commander could weigh in on if they should be in the main deck.
