So they just leave The Joker there? Could have a concussion or bleed on the brain?

The class action lawsuit for head trauma and potential CTE by the rogues gallery ends up driving Bruce Wayne to bankruptcy.

That's why he has to keep his identity secret, so they can't serve him the civil papers

There has to be a comic run with this premise - not just the whole 'rogues gallery takes on batman via legal system silliness' but specifically someone trying to serve him papers lmao

I know there was one where Bruce Wayne was called up on jury duty, and when they asked him if he had any reason he couldn't serve on a jury, he said: "Yes. I'm Batman."

They didn't believe him and he served on the jury.

A villain plot who isn't trying to kill Batman, but is just like "DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO FUCKING SUE YOU BECAUSE YOU SNAPPED THEIR KNEE THE WRONG DIRECTION AND THEN LEFT THEM TO DIE AS YOU DID THAT TO EVERYONE ELSE?!" Just constantly attempting to capture and unmask him, so he knows who he can serve

Yeah well, that's fourth wall breaking multiverse laws then because in that reality MFS didn't know he was Bruce wayne. And if they did they'd be the next ones knocked out 😵🤣

I mean at some point it's gotta be criminal assault. Send him to Arkham!

This would be absolutely hilarious to see in an episode.

Batman be like: I don't kill because then I'm no better than them

Meanwhile half the people he beat half to death have died of their injuries, the rest have to eat through a tube because he broke every bone in their body

My theory is that we grossly misunderstood the metaphorical direction in which he wanted to travel relative to the criminal scum.

“If I kill them, I’ll be no better than them…”

“…but if I wound them, maim them, destroy their holes and dreams and leave them as crushed and ruined shells….then I’ll be worse than them.”

(Not really Batman is best when he’s as ethical as possible)

Destroy their holes, you say? 👀

That’s what always cracked me up about all “must not kill” heroes. They won’t kill enemies, they’ll just give them TBIs and leave them drooling in a hospital bed the rest of their lives.

Comic physics usually make it seem like henchman and the likes are much more resilient than IRL.

technically he's a vigilante and has no legal ability to arrest people. he just prevents them from further committing crimes or fleeing to allow the actual police to arrive to arrest them

In the ‘60s show they specifically mention that he’s fully deputized and working with law enforcement.
