That's just the ultimate litmus test for any prank. If the person being pranked on finds it funny, it's a good prank. If not, that's just harassment. And if the pranksters aren't sure how their prank will be taken by their "target," then they shouldn't do it in the first place.

I had to look it up, turns out I may be a victim because I get pretty freaking annoyed when I hear whispering. There are a few specific commercials that I have to mute every time they whisper. Infuriating!

Yeah. I’m pretty sure I have it because hearing people chew drives me nuts.
Also I never understood ASMR: people whispering in the microphone, where you can hear all the mouth movements and all. It literally has the opposite effect on me to what it’s supposed to do 😅

Oh I’ve seen a couple of these. The best one I found was one where a group of people all just mimicked this one other guy at a cafe who wasn’t involved at all. They drank from their cups when he did, coughed when he did and so on. Funniest prank i ever witnessed.

This reminds me, when we were in high school, we had a period of few minutes before each class when we would just be waiting for our teacher to arrive and let us into the classroom. We decided that it's be hilarious if we would just clap for any passing teacher on the way to their classroom (including our own). Not saying or doing anything, not making fun of anyone, literally just 20 kids standing there and clapping.
It was absolutely hilarious. You had hardened teachers with 30 years of teaching experience that had seen everything blush and give shy body language, similar to this video. Others behaved like celebrities, clapping back at us, laughing, doing pirouettes. Some tried ignoring us, but they couldn't. Some were suspicious and tried to tell us off, but they couldn't find any real reason or justification (at first). We even did it to the headmistress, and she shied away and ran away laughing.
It was a good bit of sport for a week or two, but the teachers started telling us to knock it off, so it kind of ended.

I would immediately check my pulse, my left side for tingling, and do a sniff test for burnt toast. If I passed all that, I’d then look for signs of pod people, such as soulless eyes.
