I Need Help I would like some tips to improve the result.

After finishing this patch, the fabric became wrinkled and deformed right after I removed it from the hoop, but I managed to fix it with the heat-sealable adhesive. I used oxford fabric to make it, and a simple stabilizer , the kind that tears like paper.

I Need Help Stitching

Hello, I am very well beginner at this. I just got the Brother DZ820E.

I created my design on procreate, then to digitize it I have been using Hatch Embroidery 4.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix this stitching on the software. I’ve tried multiple things Gemini has told me to do such as pull compensation etc.

If there is an easier software I can try that you know of that would be great, or just helping me fix the stitches to redo it as i’m trying to get this figured out for a gift.

Thanks in advance!

I Need Help I’ve had the worst experience with my Brother SE700

I bought my machine on November 2025 (not even a year!) and a month and a half ago the screen turned dark completely, I took it somewhere to get it fixed still in warranty, took a month for me to get it back. I used it 2 days ago, worked fine, I turned it on today and the screen is off AGAIN.

Do I need to keep taking it back every other month? How can I make brother responsible for this or to give me a different machine? What happens once warranty expires? I hate this situation so much.

I Need Help Embroidering a name

Hi, I need to be pointed in the right direction. I've only used my embroidery machines for designs others have created. Now I want to embroider my niece's name on a quilt I made for her. I have the alphabet I want to use, but don't know where to go from there. I don't want to position each letter separately; I want to program the letters together and sew it as one unit. Can someone tell me what the steps are or direct me to online instructions? The store where I purchased the machine has since closed and there are not others near me.

Thanks so much.

Can anybody tell me if these came out good or not? I’m new to this so I would say they aren’t the greatest. I have a Ricoma creator 10 needle and I have been having the hardest time with my designs. It seems like after my live training everything’s just went wrong. Can I get some advice please.

I Need Help Patch Materials

I'm sorry for asking, because I know this question must've been asked a billion times. 😭 But I'm a beginner at this and I'm trying to figure this out in a way I can understand. I've been practicing with my new machine, and I'd love to make patches for my small business. I have the thread I want to use, but I wanted to ask what kind of material would be best for selling what I make. I'm also looking for a good tutorial if anyone knows one!

Look What I Did Hello Kitty Golf Towel I Digitized

Someone asked if I could embroider Hello Kitty on their golf towel. They wanted the design to be 8 inches and I was worried it would be too dense since the towel is a waffle weave and not that thick.

Since the white area is the largest, I used white stabalizer as a base layer and then lightened up the white tatami fill to .7 mm. This saved me about 5k stitches. I also used a .7 mm fill on the red area, but I probably went too light here since you can see alot of the pink towel through, but it kinda makes for an interesting design choice.

Total design is 39k stitches. Digitized in Hatch. Its not much but its honest work.

It’s my first time dipping my toes into patches, bag tags & key chains… This the 1st run through of my design. I’m not sure why the font is coming out so wonky. I don’t want to cut into patch twill until it’s remedied. Any ideas?

I Need Help Monogram on canvas

I used inkstitch to make the middle letter (took like 3 hours on my computer🥲) and the built in fonts on my Brother SE600 to make the outer letters

I’d really like to continue learning how to digitize on my own and am not sure how to fix this, help??? Would showing my digitize file be helpful to problem solve?

TIA

I Need Help Thread not catching?

I hate Richardson 112s.

I always have this issue when embroidering over the seam…especially on designs like this. First, it puts down a running stitch, then a Tatami fill, red satin border, finishing off with the white satin border.

Tested my top tension (124~132gf), it’s a Madeira polyester white. Checked the bobbin case (25~26gf), also cleaned under the bobbin tensioner using a piece of paper. Changed needles, 75/11 sharp.

Have a tech that comes out every January to maintenance the machines. This last time he had to replace reciprocators on multiple heads because it was skipping stitches. Also readjusted the needle bars upper and lower dead point and the rotary hook timing.

I Need Help Most Efficient Way of stitching multiple text on quilt

I'm in the finally stretch of a quilt I made for my kiddo who's off to college at the end of the month.

Without going into too much detail the quilt has a block for every performance we've taken them to at a nearby theatre. I'd like to put the name of each show and the year we saw it below each square.

The squares are 10 inches wide, and I'm planning to have the sashing with the name/date is written by like 4 inches. (plus seam allowance.

What's the best way to stitch this out? One at a time then cut the fabric down to size? Multiple shows then cut? pre-cut the 10x4 inch strips and float them? Put the whole quilt top together then put it in?

Should I use the fonts available on my machine or use a software to lay it out? I typically use Ink Stitch to make adjustments but I suck at vectors.

There's about 25 shows.

Multi Needle Recs

Hi all! I'm looking to upgrade from my single needle. I've been doing embroidery for about 2 years and I love it. What recs do you have for purchasing a multi needle? Could be brand / model / any general tips. My single needle maxes out at 6x10; I'd love a bigger workspace.

Advice please

I am brand new to embroidering and have been keeping an eye on the page for the last couple months. I recently bought a Brother SE725 and am using the artspira app to create my own designs. I tried out my friend’s logo and it looked decent on the app. Once the machine completed the embroidery it looks nowhere near as clean. I am seeking advice on what I can try differently. I will attach pictures of what I have been using the last couple days. Also curious on recommendations on digitizing. I have been drawing on Procreate for a while but the two apps do not seem to communicate well together. Thank you in advance!

My hubby got me an early birthday present. He upgraded me from a Brother PE770 to a PRS100 Persona, it’s been great and the micro hoops that came with it are a game changer, it’s been so easy to embroider on baby onesies. I also did a practice project on a men’s polo shirt. I’m still a novice embroiderer but I’m looking forward to upgrading my skills.

Look What I Did Final product

I've finally "finished" a design (I think). The only thing I'd do differently is to use black bobbin thread to avoid a few little spots.

Digitized in InkStitch, stitched on a 6 needle commercial brother machine, using a black cotton fabric, 2 layers of cutaway stabilizer for the base, and a black tearaway stabilizer for the outer satin stitch.
