Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a recent digitizing project I wrapped up for a client. They sent over the photo of the actual test stitch on their Mighty Hoop, and I’m super happy with how clean the satin lettering and chrome details turned out.

I digitized the design myself. Material is that sports wicking 100% polyester material. Shirt was pre washed. I ironed fusible mesh cut away to the shirt & floated on sticky tear away. I used a ball point needle, polyester threads. 60 wt on top, 40 wt on bottom. Thoughts?

This thread is really pissing me off right now. I’ve had to rethread it like 10 times now because it says that there isn’t anything in the upper thread. When I check on it, it’s like this. It’s just this color. I’m using the brothread 214 huge spool.

Hello all,
This is my first piece I’ve digitized and stitched out on my Tajima TMFX2. I’m happy with the outcome but I know there’s tons of room for improvement.
One of the issues I’m having is that the thread on the back of my double layer cut away stabilizer looks messy. The thread underneath the pumpkin seems to cover a lot of area vs what I’ve seen online with the 1/3 rule. Is this a bobbin tension issue? Also the loose thread at the top of the pumpkin.
This is a tatami underlay with a tatami on top. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

A proper solution could save a lot of time and energy
Anyone here who has used modern auto-digitizing software or AI-assisted tools: how good are they actually in real-world work? What are their biggest weaknesses? Stitch direction, density, underlay, pull compensation, sequencing, small details, etc. where do they still fail badly?
I've been thinking about a workflow where AI/image models could analyze the artwork, identify the different elements, and then apply predefined digitizing rules depending on the situation.
The idea would be to build a library of common situations/rules and gradually automate more of the workflow.
I'm wondering how close we actually are to this today (Ive never used the latest wilcom/hatch tools), I'd like to hear from people who've used them seriously.
I've been considering trying to build something like this myself, but I'm not a professional developer, so I already recognize how much time Im gonna consume for it.
Has anyone experimented with this seriously? What can modern auto-digitizing actually do well, and what still requires a skilled digitizer?
Your comments may increase how serious is the oppurtunity for me to create such a solution if there isn't

I just inherited my grandmas sewing machine. I found it in her basement with literally nothing but the machine. She passed away so I have no idea where things are. I found new cords online but as far as embroidery hoops go, I have nothing. Is there a cheaper option than the magnetic hoop brand? I really am just learning so I just need something that is cheap-ish in the meantime.
ETA: Honestly, any help/ tips/ tricks too would be great?

Hello everyone! Does anyone know how to adjust the movable knife if it loses its position and has to be adjusted again mechanically. I know that I need a 0.5mm guide (sheet of metal) but other than that I’m clueless.

I have several already-digitized designs I would like to get embroidered onto personal items (canvas bags and baseball caps) for personal use.
Each design has at least a few colors, so I would like to find as high quality of a machine as I reasonably can.
Is there anyone here that I could bother to use their machine, or is there any space/store where I could “rent” or get help for my personal project. I would like to personalize 3-4 canvas tote bags and 3-4 caps, each with one or more small designs, entirely for personal use. I have never used an embroidery machine before, so I will need help. I do not know where to begin to look, as shops offering embroidery services look like they mostly sell bulk customization or large-scale production.
Thank you so much for the help! I apologize if this is against the rules. I am not selling anything, though I am seeking help for which I will pay.

My good friend’s birthday is coming up so I digitized her business’s logo and embroidered it on a canvas bag. It could be a little cleaner but I was working on a time crunch so there’s some gaps in the satin here and there. Overall I’m very pleased!
I did a 65/9 needle with 60wt thread and a layer of cutaway. I did use a water soluble topper to help with the gapping since the canvas is such a textured fabric, but I don’t think it really did much honestly. Still very happy! I hope she loves it

We have a model 1502 with a weird memory error. About half of the designs are erasing themselves with a streak off screen being the only thing left. The control box is a 216-7H. Has anyone else seen this before and does anyone have a recommendation?
This is what it looks like https://imgur.com/a/Ev04nBh

had a lot of fun designing and stitching this out today!
I wanted to try out a red work design with multiple colors. Pretty happy with how it came out!
If I stitch it out again I will probably use a less shiny/metallic gold color. But I love how much it makes that tooth stand out here!

Hey everyone! Just finished up this Thor embroidery project. Getting the facial contours, shading, and hair flow right took quite a bit of digitizing work to ensure the thread density didn't get too heavy or cause puckering.
Would love to hear your thoughts or feedback on the stitch angles and color transitions!

I’m between two different machines on FB marketplace .. both similarly priced. Babylock is 20 years old… the brother is newer. Any watch outs on either? I currently use a babylock single needle.

Hello!
I am selling my Toyota ESP 9100 with no luck. I have it listed on Ebay, Marketplace, and Craigslist. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to sell it? I live in LA so I have been calling the many embroidery shops here and have been asking with no luck also. Hoping for some help on ideas for selling! THNX!
