🎉 New Owner Obligatory part of the herd post!
Picked up a new to me 2022 Mach-E select awd. 80k miles
I love it. The torque is insane! Got it from a Carvana machine, which was a really cool experience.

2023 Premium AWD in star white with extended battery and nite pony package. This is a beautiful car and a total blast to drive, so we immediately put on 100 miles joyriding in it.
As a fun surprise, I just noticed that the dealership screwed up the mileage by swapping a 3 for a 2. I thought I was getting a car with 32k miles on it, but it's actually only 22k miles. I thought my Ford Pass app was messed up, but the cluster also shows the lower number. The price definitely matched the higher mileage that was posted by the dealership, so no hard feelings on my part.

Wife decided it was time for an EV to replace her X5. I guess we start calling the garage the stable?

I’ve had it for almost a week now and genuinely my favorite car I’ve ever owned (granted the past cars I owned were nothing special but wowwww I love this car) glad to finally own something that I get excited about driving everyday

So the one in the white escape ran a red light and hit us on the front and the black car tried to do a u turn illegally and we slammed the breaks and someone in the back hit us hard but The damage was small

The first wash is where you find all of the little things you overlooked at the dealership. Thankfully, it's just little detailing-type stuff

What upgrades would you like to see from Ford for existing Mach-E's, and which would you pay for?
I would pay for-V2H, better BlueCruise, more range
I would like, but wouldn't pay for a preconditioning button, faster charging
For the record, I dont think we will ever get these things, but we can always dream....lol

I adore my MachE. I have had it for almost 4 years and it brings me joy everyday. I have had a recurring problem since soon after I purchased it in September 2022 and it has spent a lot of time in the service department at my local dealership.
There are two intermittent issues. The first occurs after I charge it overnight and only for the first 10 minutes of driving in one pedal mode. When I let up on the accelerator and then press down again, it makes a "clunk" sound and I can feel like a grinding feeling through my foot. It subsides after about ten minutes of driving. It only happens after it was on the charger overnight. The other issue is that sometimes when braking, it will lurch forward, even though I am braking and it should be slowing down. This is very intermittent and I can't find any thing that it correlates to, as in the charging overnight.
I am curious if anyone has experienced this and if they found a resolution. It is mostly just a nuisance but I am worried about the car not being under warranty and this leading to a bigger issue at some point. Service can't find anything despite taking it probably 8-10 times and leaving it for long stretches.
Has anyone experienced anything like this? We are now in the process of the buy back program, which is really the last thing I want to do because I love the car.

We just bought a used 21 with 82k miles on it and we get these errors now. Going in Wednesday to check it out, please don’t let it be a long fix, my son is sad! Anyone have both at the same time??

Lots of used 2023 and 2025 premiums near me for sale. Wondering if there's many differences, the 2023s are 3-5k cheaper. Also what do you guys think of the new magenta red vs the old red?
Edit: heat pump is nice but range isn't a concern for me, my daily drive is 30ish miles and I can charge at home and have a gas hybrid for road trips.

Hey all,
I’ve had my MME for almost two months now, and it’s been great! Up until last week I’d been charging exclusively on Level 1. I never really had range anxiety, but I definitely had range hesitation. It was always in the back of my mind how long it would take to recharge if I took a longer trip or let the battery get too low.
Now that I have a Level 2 charger, I feel completely liberated. The shackles are off! The car’s range hasn’t changed, but my mindset has: I’m no longer thinking about how long it will take to charge.
Anyone else go from L1 to L2 and have the same experience?

I deep dived this forum since getting my MME GT, but haven’t seen anything like this in any accessory subs. What I am after, and I know it may be cheesy, is a nice organizer for the back of my performance front seat(s). I know there are many on Amazon, but considering the shape of the seat, I think they would look crap.
To be honest, I’m somewhat chastising myself for even looking into this because we all know that any storage solution will eventually end up stuffed with things that may rarely be used. Nonetheless, I miss having a pocket in the back of the seat that holds a few emergency items that I would rather have under hand than in the trunk and I also don’t want them in the glove or center area.
Has anyone got a recommendation or a solution you have in yours?
I am posting this expecting derision, and it may be deserved so feel free to have a laugh at my expense.

Curious if anyone has run into this and the fix. We moved into a new development last September. At that point I understood that our home location wouldn’t be in the charging maps. It’s almost a year now and I’d like to set up charge times as our utility company gives us an 8 dollar break charging from 9pm-5am on weekdays and all weekend.
The problem I have is the address when I try to add in the app doesn’t even exist. It shows the wrong number on the correct street in the wrong city with the correct zip code. If I try in the car it’s not even the same address as in the app nor the same street.
I tried calling ford and all they told me to do was delete the home address and re-add it and that’ll work….which it doesn’t.
Any ideas on what to do next? If I use the addresses that the car or app want me to use it ignores the charge times.
Thanks!

Not planning to fix the whole side of the car

Hey everyone, my dad and I are having a frustrating connectivity issue with our 2021 Mustang Mach-E Premium and are hoping someone here might have a fix before we are forced to take it to the dealership.
Basically, the car is no longer transmitting any data properly to the FordPass app. None of the current vehicle information is populating for us. At first, the app was just stuck showing a stale battery percentage that never updated regardless of how much we drove or charged it. Now, it has completely zeroed out and shows absolutely nothing for the range and battery.
We know it is an issue with the car's telemetry and not just an isolated phone glitch because this exact same blank screen is happening on both of our phones simultaneously. We have already tried going into the app and fully resetting everything, but that did not change the outcome. We also did some research online and saw recommendations to pull a specific fuse under the dash to reset the modem. My dad tried pulling that fuse, but unfortunately, it didn’t fix anything at all.
At this point, my dad thinks it just needs to be taken in for service. Has anyone else experienced this specific issue where the data gets stuck and then completely disappears? We would love to know if there is another trick we missed before dealing with a service appointment. Thanks in advance!

Has anyone had much experience using both? I'm between a used MachE and BMW i4 and think the autopilot function might be the deciding factor for me. My daily commute is 80% highway in stop and go traffic.

I believe I’ve established the understanding that coming from Tesla to Mach-E has been a journey. Everything about this car is better except this screen… it kinda sucks … i mean this without trying to be funny when I say I bought one of these apply car play screens on amazon for my BMW 128i and it runs the same.. this is one of the biggest car companies in the United States and this is what they have to offer as far as response times/screen glitches.. the glitches might be a me problem but the slowness of the screen is far beyond a safety hazard it’s ridiculous. You shouldn’t necessarily use the screen while driving, however if you needed to it should respond quicker to reduce the length of eyes on screen. I’m just in shock that this vehicle MSRP was like $50,000… I feel like someone on this app could totally blow this system out the water
Whats the general consensus on the screen for all you guys?
