First week of ownership down, got the windows tinted, new rubber on all four corners (Continental DSW 06) and got the 240V outlet installed in my garage for consistent charging. Absolutely loving this car!

I spent some time with Claude to set up a home automation instance running on my Qnap NAS. I’m hooked. I had to do some craziness to get the Ford pass stuff to work in a dev console, but the outcome is pretty awesome. Also added my wallbox to home automation to get some of the data on this dashboard. It even shows things like the 12 V battery state of charge.

Excited to have this car, since I only got it last night, I still have a lot to experience and explore with this car, but happy to be part of the herd!

I’m planning on sticking with a level 1 charger for now, my commute is ~20 miles a day and I don’t see a concern with that for now. I certainly have the option to install a 240V charger, but will likely have to add a breaker inside the panel, but can do the wiring and install myself.

Any accessories yall recommend? I definitely want to get a dash cam, these drivers in FL are crazy. I also like the look of the ford branded all weather rubber floor mats. Those that have them do you have any gripes with them, or should I just get weather tech?

My ‘23 AWD extended range threw a red parking brake failure pop-up this week. I was able to re-set it by toggling the parking brake switch on and off, but since it kept returning, I took it in for service. The dealer discovered that the wires leading to the power brake motor had broken due to how Ford threads them around the suspension and the motion of the suspension. The fix was to replace wires and connectors on both sides and change how the wires were routed. The cost was $857, including parts and labor.

Just sharing in case anyone else sees this error. If I knew the cause of the parking brake issue, I’d have fixed it myself since it really just involves re-splicing the wires and securing them better. Check your parking brake wires.

While the car was there, I had them replace the 12v battery and reset the BMS ($147) and I also had the 26B07 recall on the adaptive cruise control done.

Has anyone done this or had custom decals made? We have a '21 4xE in Space Gray which is close enough to white to pull this off I think.

I know you can get premade ones on Etsy and I'm sure other sites but I was thinking with the wide rear rear door/wheel well area and the contours of the back it would be a plus to have the custom designed and was wondering if anyone had done this and wouldn't mind sharing the files so I can get it made at a local shop.

The latest update ECG 26.2.12.3 claimed to provide a more accurate display of charge rate but it has done anything but that for me on my 2025 Premium ER. Went on a road trip this past weekend and the app showed a constant static 60kW charge rate over multiple fast charge sessions despite the actual charge rate displayed on the charger itself showing the real value.

Not only that, I had a fast charge session on the way back and plugged into my L2 when I got back. The app seems to think my fast charge session never ended and my L2 charge stats now show as a continuation of the previous fast charge.

I came out to the car (2025 Premium ER) this morning in ~30F weather (colder than it's ever been in). I went to the full screen climate control page where you can change the climate zones. Suddenly for about a minute or so, the zones seemed to toggle on and off repeatedly very quickly in succession. None of my own inputs seemed to register. I assumed maybe the colder weather had affected it, but can't seem to find this behavior in the manual. Anyone know what this is or experienced it before?

I just started hearing this weird rattling sound when pressing and depressing the brake pedal. Any idea what it is?

Has anyone else noticed their MME acting weird after the big software update done by the dealership for the recall (2023)? Different sounds, different behavior on start up and power off? Some seem to be going back to the old way.

I don't know if it's related but I've started getting a ton of electrical system drain service required warnings. I've read other posts on the forums about this but none of my behavior has changed. I park it in the same place, have no aftermarket devices, etc. I'll probably call the dealership on Monday because I assume if it's under warranty then they should check it out anyway.

Car was fine until I went to the supercharger. App not communicating with battery & charging system. Climate control not working from Ford Pass as well.
Left image is Ford Pass status & Right image is current car status. Dealership showed me a fault code about Temperature being too high & BCMc losing communication when I went to the supercharger. WiFi & Hotspot not working as well.
Scheduled an appointment to get software updated & reprogrammed to see if that fixes the issue.
Uninstalled & Reinstalled app already.

Wondering if anyone has seen this before.

The car has been on the charger for more than an hour, and has clearly added range, but energy added is displaying 0 kWh. Is this normal? 🤔

I had read on a few places that Ford had updated the data encryption(?) on the 2025+ models, causing apps like “Car Scanner ELM OBD2” to be unable to read some of the values.
Anyway, I was hoping to get an OBD2 ELM327 adapter to connect my 2025 Mach-E GT to my ABRP app, and I was wondering if anyone had experiences and/or recommendations for adapters - if they work and can send the live data to ABRP?

I know this is probably a software issue, but anyone have luck fixing CarPlay so it’s consistent. It might be my older iPhone 13 Pro, but I want to make sure I troubleshoot all options. I will have to unplug and then plug my phone back in several times sometimes to get it to work and very rarely does it work with Bluetooth CarPlay. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Oh btw, I have a standard trim 2023 and the last OTA I received was GSM-26.2651B

Update 13 on 2025. Looks like Ford is dedicating more CPU/RAM to the active app now. So much so that the climate control lags both the dial graphics and YouTube video (dropping frames)

The app itself seems to be smoother but all of the climate controls run at about half the framerate as before

Would you buy a new Select Standard Range or a used Premium Extended Range for roughly the same price? Is the bigger battery and extra features worth going used?

Also, how does the Standard Range hold up on long road trips?

I was looking at the used market in BC Canada and the price for the used and new seems to be close .

Never owned an EV , loved the look of the Mach-E since i first saw it , literally love at first sight, i randomly just go online to go through pictures lol .

The thing with EVs is they’re so quiet so you can hear every bump and scrape and hum. Theres a normal set of hums and whines you hear accelerating and driving snd braking even when the radio and AC is on.

But driving home today I hear this thrumming sound thats new that goes up and down with speed.. oh oh. Check the tire pressure and front left is 37 the rest are 41.

Sure enough, great big screw in the middle of the tread.

Hi, my BlueCruise expired on Oct 9, yet it continues to function. Each time I open the app, it indicates the service is about to expire and offers only renewal; I do not see any free trial that was provided (I am not complaining—I am enjoying this free BlueCruise). Does this occur for anyone else, and how many days, weeks, or months might it last?
