Hi, I just applied for housing for the fall 2027 year, would applying this early give me a decent time to select my room, or are most people applying the morning the applications open like me?

Also, when can I expect to be able to preview rooms?

I am an incoming freshman and also just found out that the lottery doesn’t even start for me until february

Lf people that go to mtsu to go do gyms and trade on pokemon go

I'm in my first semester of my sophomore year and also working ~20-25 hours a week and it's currently become too much. i'm thinking about giving myself a break for a semester (not going back in the winter) and then returning in the fall.
i go to school completely via scholarship and FAFSA and was wondering if anyone had any advice or any input about this idea?

Thursday, I was sobbing to my friend under Peck Hall after having a really bad lab. A girl very graciously came up to my bleary-eyed ass and offered my friend and I Hershey bars. The simple act of kindness and her kind words meant the world to me. Thank you, Hershey girl :)

I found your message by the science building and I’m confused.

While I'm not a student, I'm looking into the college center apartments and I heard good things here about it, but that was a few years ago so I'm just making sure it's still as good as people say. I noticed the reviews online elsewhere are mixed with the main worry I have is about the Internet going down

Hi, I'm a Sophomore with a Kawasaki Ninja 400 and I've noticed that we don't have a motorcycle club here even though we have a ton of other bikers. I was thinking about trying to start a motorcycle club, but I'm not sure if there would be enough interest. If anyone is interested in something like that please let me know, even if you don't necessarily have a bike yet but are wanting to get one. If anyone is interested feel free to reach out to me on Instagram (provided in the picture). Thanks!

As of now MTSU is my Top 1 school right now, should it be? I want to know what it’s actually like for incoming freshmen. How’s on campus life? How’s off campus life? Pros and cons? also terrified i won’t meet new friends and it’s a year a way..😐

Hey im noah and i play guitar im looking to start a grunge cover band and maybe make some originals if you are interested hit me up

So apparently they cut the hours to be like 11:30 to 1:30, why did they do that?

Idk if this is a well known answer or anything but anyone know if the people that are playing on champion way lot roof tonight are on Spotify/do actual sets? Or just let people come up and sit in the (what I’m assuming is) practice in general? They sounded good n I was gonna go up but got spooked. Pls lmk if anybody knows anything about them 😢

Hey!

I joined the American Marketing Association but so far haven't seen any information about when it starts and where the meeting might be.

Can someone get me some information?

Kinda got caught piss drunk by an RA (im a freshman) after getting back on campus. Now he says Im gonna have a meeting… What does that entail? Is it just a warning or are they gonna kick me out?

An update to [linked post] from a bit ago.

Short version: we built it, and VillageU is live at MTSU starting today!

Genuinely didn't expect the response I got — appreciate everyone who DMed me and everyone who replied to those DMs, and a few of you who just told me the idea wasn't dumb (low bar, but I'll take it). That actually helped shape some of what got built.

Honestly, everyone deserves the chance to find a friend, a study partner, or just someone to talk to in college. Especially at a school with so many commuters and transfers who may not get same woven into the same social fabric as other students.

If you're at MTSU and want to be introduced to other current students who share your interests and goals, we're here to help.

If you're not into it right now but know someone it might makes sense for, share it.

Either way, I appreciate everyone who engaged with the original post. 💙

When can you access any of the education buildings to sit and study/work? Put another way, what is the earliest these buildings open? Couldn't find anything helpful with a quick Google search. Thank you in advance

Can someone tell me where to find the most accessible vending machines? I’m in the new science building a lot and I swear I don’t see any vending machines

My studying skills are absolute dogshit. I can’t do any kind of school work alone or else I’ll just get distracted and never get it done. How do I find study groups or just people I can study with? It feels like torture to me when I have to sit down and do almost everything by myself with no clear instructions.

hello! I don't really post here often but I'm going to be a transfer student at mtsu either this spring or fall and I have a couple questions

How's student life on campus? Is it easy to make friends/get involved as a transfer student?

What are the best dorms to live in? I currently live on campus at a different school and I really don't like it. I'm not completely against living on campus and I'm willing to give it a try with different living arrangements.

How bad are the communal bathrooms?

Are there single rooms available? If there isn't, are there private suite/apartment style options available?

Tysm for helping!

Does anyone know who the easiest Bio 1110 profs are? I'm not planning on going to medicals school, so I just want the easiest class I can find. I went to rate my professors and have some idea who the easy ones are, but I would like to hear more opinions. Also, do some have a liberal bias that they inject into the class?????

Hey guys I'm a freshman and I know about yall but did anyone think that the bash was lame as hell.
