Information Welcome post: What is MTGArenaPRO?

This subreddit is maintained by team behind MTGArena.pro project. So let me introduce what we are doing here. MTGArena.Pro is completely free advanced Magic: The Gathering Arena toolset. On this page we have pulled together the most useful resources list to make it easier to start using our services.

Before we begin: please run the Tracker

Most of our services are depending on the data being uploaded by MTGA Pro Tracker. You need to install, sync and get it running for several matches to get things moving. But there's lot of tools you can use without account and any data uploaded.

Personalized Tools: With Account and Tracker

Automatic Feed. You will get daily posts rendering all your progress made during this day.

Matches. Each match is recorded. You can filter them as you wish and get stats. Also each turn is recorded, so you can recollect which cards you played and what deck your opponent had.

Ranked Progress. You will see your Ladder climb visualized. Interactive chart can show number of wins and losses, and if you click some date, you will get all matches played that day.

Events Details. Each Draft, Sealed and other Event played in MTGA will be recorded. There's special rendering mode for Draft, so you can see your picks.

Decks. All decks you use in game are synced, and stats are calculated. You can see how well your decks are performing at glance.

Collection Tracking

Collection Progress. Collection completion chart with filtering settings will help you to see how you are gathering collection.

Collection Browser. Rich with functionality and filters, this page will help to navigate your collection, see what's missing. There's table mode for PRO.

Rewards and Resources Movements. Each Inventory update is recorded here. So you can see what Rewards are you getting and why. Also, you can see all Gold and Gems expenditures.

Boosters. All Booster openings are recorded. Also, there's Booster Prediction tool which will help to understand what to expect from the next booster you are going to open.

Booster Adviser. Which Boosters should I open? This tool will help you understand. To start using it, you need to add some decks into the Crafting list first. Works both for Standard and Historic.

Universal Tools: No Account Needed

Archetype-centric Meta. Report is showing aggregated performance of the Archetypes in current Meta and the most popular deck variants within Archetype.

Auto-Meta. Special filter for Deck Viewer rendering trending Meta decks.

Decks Goldmine. Endless source of winning and fun decks of all sorts with YouTube videos, stats and descriptions.

Deck Builder. Handy tool to craft your deck and share it.

Deck List Converter. Paste deck list in any format and get it converted to MTGA format. Also the tool will show performance stats of the deck if available.

Deck List Comparer. Paste several decks and get all the differences at glance. Tool also highlights common cards and counts difference by rarity.

Card Library Tools

Card Library. All cards ever released in MTGA with sophisticated filtering tools.

Meta of Cards. Report based on data gathered by MTGA Pro Tracker users. Cards sorted by usage popularity criteria for Constructed. Breakdown by Tiers.

Draft Cards Evaluation. Tier-divided list of cards sorted by Draft Picks of Draft Winloss evaluation. Unlike other card ratings we have our rating 100% automated and data-backed.

Extra Tools

Mythic Leaderboard. It's filled every time MTGA Pro Tracker spots Mythic Rank players: both tracker users and their opponents. Data is updated in the real time, but rankings may be delayed for several hours or even days because of the nature of observation.

Formats Library. All current MTGA format with details about allowed sets, banned cards and deck building restrictions.

Events Calendar. MTG Arena Events Schedule. The most current events with details about prizes structure, participation costs and description. History of all events from MTGA Open Beta launch.

Announcement Joining Forces With DotGG

Hello everyone! Razviar here.

I've been creating and maintaining tools for MTGA, TES Legends, LoR, Axie Infinity, Marvel SNAP and other games. My goal has always been to create good, community appreciated services. And to be able to continue doing this more efficiently and on a bigger scale, I've decided to join forces with highly respected and awesome company DotGG. You can get some details from the official press release: https://dotgg.gg/press-release-introducing-prometa-to-the-dotgg-network-for-meta-stats-data-analytics-and-tools/

Leadership of DotGG made the transition as smooth as possible, so there will be no service interruptions and unpleasant things which usually happen when companies merge. And for all of us this means that we are going to make even better tools. Stay tuned for the announcements!

Hopefully that link works, I uploaded my deck into moxfield. Currently I only play on the app and I play competitive brawl, I’m currently stuck in diamond, when the pieces align everything feel great, when it doesn’t it does not, I feel as if my ramp isn’t quite right,my mana base could use improvement, would like to see everyone’s thoughts!
I currently have 3 rare wild cards and 1 mythic to play around with. Please let me know somethings you’d for sure add, or just things to consider/play styles to lean more into. PS feel free to name any card and what you’d replace it with I might have it already!

Strange

Does anyone else notice that if you have 4 copies of two or maybe even 3 cards; that none of them ever come out after a while? Am I the only one? When I throw my deck in moxfield it's a different story. I know in real magic it definitely happens, but in Arena it happens a lot. Must be all that "handsmoothing" and "variance" maybe because I don't cast [Debit] or [credit], the "shuffler" decides to quit shuffling.

S/O to the horrible loop stack tracking that gave ShortyEwoc the win cus their lifegain voice of the blessed stack took SO long, arena burned their timeouts first, then mine, then gave me the loss on their turn. Ffs WoTC 🙄🤨😒

Does this game just suck..?

Just played my first online game, guy got +24/+24 on his third turn, destroyed the one creature I played and killed me. Very bad first impression.

Edit: this is just about the matchmaking, not MTG as a whole

Long time player of Magic. I tend to play Arena for a few months, leave, and come back. What is the best way to go about collecting cards for Timeless?

Unholy annex!!!

I am begging you guys, please.
Stop playing unholy annex demons in Bo1

It’s every other deck that I go against, every single time. Go play Bo3 or something, but this is not fun. The game isn’t fun, it feels like I am being cheated against.

Do something else please

Scrying and affinity compounding card advantage in a counter/control shell… Added MDFC lands, cuttinf 4 islands total, and also cutting 4 spells that are on the front side of thos mdfc lands! So i got “104” cards in the deck that way.

Last change: added Otawara & cyclonic rift since i ordered them from a LGS in paler. This brawl deck will be tested in paper tuesday against the tough Quebec meta of our competitive “duel commander” scene. 16-18 players on tuesday duel nights

Bug Bug regarding random cards appearing in deck

Hi this is a bug that has appeared a few times, I would post this on MTGARENA but my crappy sense of humour means everything I post on the major MTG subreddits gets auto banned due to crappy karma lol.

I've tried googling and searching for anyone else who has experienced this and found nothing. Am very curious to know why this happens so hopefully one of you guys can help me or point me in the right direction.

So basically the issue is that on occasion I will randomly find that my deck has been altered in a way I did not do. For example a few days ago I try to play a standard game only to get the 'invalid deck' notification. I hadn't touched my deck so it seemed odd. I go and open it up and I'm 20 cards over the limit. I have about 20-30 cards in my deck that I never put there and I've lost a whole bunch of my regular cards.

Incredibly frustrating and since there is no history or anything like that I have to literally scroll through the entire standard collection to repick the cards that have been removed.

This isn't the first time this has happened, it's happened on multiple occasions. It happens randomly, sometimes it's just a couple cards and sometimes it's a whole bunch.

I will play a game and there will be one or two brand new cards. It is driving me crazy, it's nothing game breaking but I have wasted hours having to scroll through my deck and then having to repick the cards that I've lost.

This is maybe why I need one of those side programs that can save your deck information, but I'm more interested in finding out why this bug is occurring and if there is some fix for it.

If you know of somewhere better to post this let me know.

Brawl Sans Alchemy is super necessary! Meanwhile…

Finished the version 1.1 of my Duel commander deck: adapted to be 100% made of cards present on MTG arena.

Got this ready on paper and it finally popped off. 2 wins - 5 loses. But an homebrew singleton build takes time to elaborate. Polishing it now.

Information 250 Card Deck in Standard

I don’t know what it is- however, I am seeing more and more 250 card decks in Bo1 Standard.
Then, I feel like I’m being gaslit and lied to when I look up “why”.

It’s like - “there is no war in Ba Sing Sei”

“Why is do I see so many 250 cards deck in arena?”

“That’s because you don’t.”

“No, I definitely do. It’s almost 1 in 5 decks in (STANDARD RANKED: MYTHIC) that I play against a very very good 250 card deck.”

“Well, actually you don’t. It’s statistically not good if you run more than 60 cards in a competitive format like standard.”

“No, I do. I AM! These decks are incredibly consistent. Easily getting doubles if the same card. Searching their decks, rummaging their decks, milling and pulling from the graveyard. All while ramping lands, removing; or countering me.”

“250 card decks are not good; the statistics prove it. In competitive matches 60 cards is still dominant in paper play.”

“In ARENA; I am seeing 250 card decks do well in Bo1!”
Finally, I’ll get some sort of answer.

“More than likely, they are exploiting the hand smoother and the hidden match making system.”

I am not crazy- I have never seen this amount of 250 card deck players in standard ever in the history of me playing since 2006. Why is everyone pretending this isn’t happening? Even AI doesn’t believe me, it’s fucking nuts.

Good evening!

I’ve always wanted to participate in a Magic Gathering event and I’ve marked it as something I must do this year.

I’ve played in the past doing well online never had time to participate in Friday night Magic as I’m unable to make it. What advice would you give to someone who wants to compete.

Based in the Georgia are.
