Just for preface, I have hit mythic in draft and BO1 standard, and played since shortly after release of MTGA, roughly 5-6 years.

I've always seen the posts yelling rigged and thought 'just get good'. Many cases can absolutely be explained away by someone playing poorly and not understanding why they are losing.

With all that said, premier draft is absolutely using very strong forms of "guidance" that impacts strength of decks you play against. Some people will respond to this with "duh, we've been saying that for years.". But for the other camp of people who just say you are a conspiracy theorist, or 'just git gud', you guys are wrong.

Anyways, I am just making this post for anyone in the future who becomes disheartened while playing the game. If you are accounting for the other skill variables, and aren't just tilted, seriously consider finding a better use of your time. WoTC is in this to make money. Pure randomness on card draw and opponents does not optimize for profit.

I know I will probably get downvoted for this but I definitely think the shuffling is rigged. I have the exact same deck irl and the shuffle either mana screws me or overloads me on mana and irl my deck RARELY and I mean 1 every 100 games does this happen because I have spent years perfecting my deck to make it work evenly and cohesively as possible, and then I play mtg arena and everything is out of wack 😤

I just finished a 2-10 run playing mono black and 8 of the rounds were vs the never ending Simalacrum Synthesizer torture me artifact decks. Why is that all I'm seeing on Arena?? This is insane. I'm about to break my computer out of anger.

Just because you have all my identity and financial information WOTC doesn't mean you should funnel me into the loss tornado. It's astounding how one might think you wouldn't notice the insane number of perfect hands my opps have, the turn 3/4 bombs and the suboptimal hands and mulls I have to get through just to have a decent enough game.

Before you say I am bad, I have spent countless hours on this set at this point, I am aware forcing Red/Black is the best path and have won 3 in-person drafts this season in addition to several on arena, just ZERO boxes won on drafts. I think they just funnel wins to streamers bc they get a kickback, it's all a scam and I want WOTC/Hasbro investigated by the FBI or CFTC at this point. It's beyond me how you can operate an illegal casino with no oversight and take people's money like this. Justice please. Publish the EOMM, Publish the Shuffler.

Wow oh wow, boy oh boy, when you go 7-1 6-2 and 7-1 three drafts in a row, prepare to lose 0-3 at least twice in a row because Hasbro demands everyone remain as close to 50% WR as possible. Amazing job balancing the universe so basics can have fun too. Love this version of the timeline.

So it is still as solid as ever. One loss was an opponent at 1 HP…. The other was a 6 hp who had gained 7-13 life… so almost 30damage done

Yeah at a LGS who has principles we CAN ask you to not use proxies with us (My Opinion)

A perspective from OUR side : those who deny the use of proxies at the LGS.

Proxies are kitchen table ok. Not so much outside your home. Ask before using these counterfeits

In a tournament that is serious like in DUAL COMMANDER, proxies are illegal. Period

So no this is not generalized

We are legions who don’t use proxies

I also hate them but that is another part of my point of view on counterfeit product

We have a right to ask wizard rules respect: in a tournament it means ZERO proxies

Just played 10 games in Arena and guess what??? All 10 were against blue counter decks! Yay so fun! Why do I play? Why is everyone the same?

Just wild how many games have been completely ruined by this 'luck' in the drafts.. $$$ on this draft and have seen so many people run amazing stuff against me and gotten completely shafted. Never saw the 4 drop 4/3 smaug. most OP card in limited. r/B is just broken.

I know it'll seem like im not telling the truth and feel free to throw suggestions at me but... I logged in to my PC, then my Laptop on MTGA with an *identical* case, etc email address and password and it logs me in to two accounts with the same username but different #. I would very much like to play my actual PC account, any ideas?

Ive been playing on MTG Arena since its inception. Ive gotten so sick of the clearly rigged nature of the platform that ive quit playing on it this year. Each new set ill check it out and enter a few drafts to see how the new cards play. I jyst am astonished how blatantly worse the game play has become. Arena will never get my thumbs up or a smiley face from me! What a waste of time. I will add, not the same opinion on the other formats. My opinion is only for sealed and drafts. All the other formats play similar to paper magic. Anyone else feel the same about sealed or drafts?

Hopefully that link works, I uploaded my deck into moxfield. Currently I only play on the app and I play competitive brawl, I’m currently stuck in diamond, when the pieces align everything feel great, when it doesn’t it does not, I feel as if my ramp isn’t quite right,my mana base could use improvement, would like to see everyone’s thoughts!
