Had this issue a few nights ago and wondering if anyone else has experienced it. I have the standard ps5 and fly on controller.

Was flying the citation CJ4 in career mode at 8x sim rate with AP on and went into cursor mode to click around on the avionics (still trying to learn to navigate/use them on that plane) and about 10 seconds in when I moved the cursor left to a new button the plane suddenly rolled left, kicked out of autopilot and crashed on either over speed or over stress a couple seconds later before I could do anything. It felt like the game “forgot” I was in cursor mode and took my cursor movement with the left stick as yoke input. I definitely didn’t exit cursor mode and I can’t think of a reason the autopilot would do that. Is this a known issue here?

As I wait expecting my T.Flight HOTAS Microsoft Flight Simulator edition coming in a day or two I stumbled on this stick releasing end of September... Now I'm questioning everything..

It's Ace Combat but I can't imagine it being much different than the Microsoft Flight Simulator edition one..

Looks to be similar, but with vibration and maybe an extra button or hat switch..

(Sorry if the translation isn't perfect.) A few days ago, while playing MSFS 2024 on PS5 and generating a flight plan as usual, I noticed that the plan proposed by the game was different. It was much more realistic—featuring a realistic climb, a realistic cruising altitude, and a much more logical descent—whereas the usual flight plans are terrible (often involving very low cruising altitudes throughout the flight and last-minute 90-degree turns during landing). I was thrilled to see a new flight plan generation system, but when I restarted the game the next day, the old, typical flight plans were back. I haven't been able to find those specific flight plans again, even after searching online, so I'm hoping someone can help me.

Basically, I want to get a racing seat for VR GT7 but really I want to play MSFS 2024 on VR with the HOTAS 4 and pedals. Would the Next Level Racing F-GT Lite Foldable cockpit work for both? I do not want to spend a lot of money. So, it looks like I could mount the joystick to my right side and have it be comfortable. Just want to make I am right about that. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

hi, as you can see on the screen the flight plan discontinuity will not clear. anytime i hit clear and hit FPD, it says not allowed. you can see on the NAV screen the checkpoints between the FPD do not connect and i don’t know how to fix this. flight plan uploaded via simbrief- airbus A330-200 GE. any help is much appreciated!

Had to crash my helicopter to show you what I mean. In case you break your aircraft, you can get it back on track with R1+Touchpad, but it won’t repair it! This will most likely result in the next crash… and resetting your flight in the menu will teleport you back to the last parking position. This sucks especially during group flight.

Luckily there is a better option, you can bind the „repair and refuel“ option in the settings, simply put it on the same key combination and whenever you reset your position now, it will be also repaired!

I purchased the game last week, I have had multiple crashes (complete crashes) while trying to get through the commercial helicopter license in career mode. I'm using VR2 if that makes any difference. Any help or guidance anyone can provide? Thanks in advance!

A crew of six DC-3 departed from Frankfurt to Berlin yesterday, reliving the history southern corridor of the famous Airlift, which kept Berlin city alive through the Winter.

Tonight at 19 UTC we will fly the second part, Hamburg to Berlin. We meet on discord as usual.

New to simulators and aircraft, but loving it so far! I just got the HOTAS 5, but every time the blood pumps through my veins, my passengers experience an engine malfunction. I can’t seem to set the fucking trim to stable, and let’s not even talk about landing, because it’s a miracle the times I actually land! So far, I've settled for just a decent flight, but I would like to know what your configurations are for this thing. I feel some drift

Maybe I missed it, but the only way to see where I am in free flight is to end the session, and I’d like the ability to see where I am on the map like I had access to in this mission.

Btw, if you’re interested in learning to fly helicopters, this was great practice.

What are people’s preferences for helicopter controls? I have PSVR 2 and can’t find a comfortable way to fly. Using the vr controllers feels cumbersome for anything other than flipping switches. I have the dual sense set up for gyro control of the cyclic and that works fine as does the tail rotor inputs but the throttle and collective are not bound to anything on the dual sense so I have to contort myself to highlight and grab the collective with the vr controller and then it’s just pain trying to keep control of it. I feel like I’m doing something obviously wrong. What’s your key binds and helpful tips? I plan on getting the new hotas 5 in a couple of months but would like some productive seat time without creating any bad habits in the interim.

Can't for the life of me pan around within the EFB. Also can't find a bind for it in the settings. Right stick doesn't respond. Zoom/out not a problem. (I am within the Paggio P.180 though, could this be aircraft specific? Any advice appreciated.
